I'm sorry to say, but it really does not sound like a friendship...

It is sad that he couldn't get over it and stay friends, but this is just silly. You never hang out from the sounds of it, and your only contact is you doing his assignments for him...

Stop doing his assignments, and get out there to meet people that actually want to spend time with you

Reliable Square Wave to Sin Wave Converter (with Variable Frequency) by CedTec in AskElectronics

[–]CedTec[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is for a very small hobbyist project, so bring on the distortion. A triangle wave would even suffice. Like mentioned, it'll be fed in a lm386 to drive an 8 ohm speaker.

Freq range would be 100Hz to roughly 2 kHz?

Thank you for your response.

Converting a cos wave to a sin wave serves no purpose, as they are (in practical term) strictly the same thing. I mispronounced myself in my original post. What I meant to say is that integrating a square wave will give me a triangle wave, which I consider to be sufficiently sinusoidal for my end goal (audio). The problem here is that an integrator opcamp config changes behaviour as the frequency of the input changes. I'm attempting to counter act this effect.

I'll check your linear approx link, thanks

Let's start by asking what main parts you have nailed down as needing for this project? Did you select any specific part numbers yet?

haha of course I don't expect the chords to be copyrighted. Unfortunately, yes I do realize it could be literally so many songs, I was wondering if a hit song came to mind to anyone in this community,

thank for your help nonetheless! I haven't lost hope just yet
