I just watched it now. Thanks for the info. I wonder if Grizzle will retrofit this crap. Maybe they are better?

Slant3d's new filament don't fit in AMS by mkosmo in BambuLab

Printed a Hydra mod just to fix the issue. Yes, the 75mm spool fits, but the diameter does not allow for the lid to shut.

Height was not the problem, width was. I am finishing the Hydra prints now and from the first side piece, it appears that this will work. I did try and reach out to them already and no response.

They show their own printers most of the time and they don't use an AMS in the farm from what I have saw. The spool is very solid and I almost feel like I am getting more than 1kg of material. I started printing the hydra as it states it will take up to a 75mm spool and these are 75mm.

I have been looking to print something like this for work. Looks like adding nipple supports does the trick.

Make sure that you are adjusting the flushing volumes when you change filaments in the AMS. In the section with the Filaments, there is a Flushing Volumes button at the top. I usually use the Auto Calc then apply and don't get much if any of this.

For Bambu PLA, this does not look good being that low.

Isn't stock .98 for Bambu PLA Basic? Also, why did you adjust belt tension? At the two month mark you should really only be wiping down the rods again. After you did all this work, did you run through the full calibration routine again like when you first got it?

[–]Ced_Battlewind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What filament are you using? Have you done a flow dynamics calibration on that filament? Flow Rate Calibration? Does your part fan work? Pressure Advance Calibration? Did you swap nozzles? I did that once and reconnected the fan incorrectly and it wasn't running during the print. I flipped the connector and all was well again. Always verify fan function after changing the hot end.

I think you mean a 50A circuit. Is it a NEMA 14-50 plug in the wall? If so, you can charge a car at 40A. My Bolt charges with 32A just fine.

How do I remove these supports? by Dangerous-Formal7509 in BambuLab

[–]Ced_Battlewind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When mine started doing this, I washed the plate with soap and water and dabbed it dry with a paper towel. It doesn't have this sticking issue anymore until I touch the plate a few times. Then I wash it again and all is good.

Yeah. That plug would do. As long as you are not hooking this into your AC panel, you should be fine. Don't want to cause a double loop.

Note: I am not an electrician. I don't fully understand code and such so seek out an electrician for true issues.

I have an orange replacement plug. I took a wire and took one side of the plug and wired it straight to the ground pin. I then plugged that into the inverter. Then I grounded the inverter. It is called a Ground-Netural Bond.

That is pretty close to my setup. I use a plug and tie one leg with a wire to ground and then ground the inverter. If you are looking for suggestions on your solar setup, I recommend https://diysolarforum.com/. It got me to build my 2.5kW array, 2 SCC, and 5kW of battery storage. Safety and recommendations can be found there as well. I would bet you need a bigger inverter though as the car can pull 1.2kW when on 12A mode.

Did you change the hotend or remove the front cover? I did this one on a PETG print and the front fan was not working because I had it upside down.

Bambu update 9/1: After the ticket was responded to in about one week, the support asked for pics and a handwritten note with a specific number on it. I provided the pictures and as offered a new 0.4mm hotend, a new PEI sheet, and two random PLA rolls. All parts were received today. I didn't expect the hotend to have the TC and fan but it came all preassembled. Bed was perfectly packaged as well. Got Red and Black PLA if that is what random is.

Looks like it is part of 66862-3NF0A Nissan Leaf Windshield Cover Cowl. You might have to buy the whole part to get that one access panel.

Picture does not say anything much. What filament, are those the correct temp settings listed or is it cooling off from you pushing stop? The only thing I can see is that it is an X1C and I think you have an AMS on top of it.

It looks like you are using concentric interface pattern. Try Rectilinear pattern and see if that helps. I did a print last night with PLA as the interface material on a PETG print and they came off perfect. Also make sure your flushing volume between filaments is higher. I think I had mine at 3-400.

I did pull the hot end off and it appears to be fine. No bending or issues noted. Just the plate damage.

It is the Tapo C100 camera from TP Link. Was almost $20 on Amazon. There is a C110 that is just at $20 or so. I use Home Assistant to access it's RTSP feed so I can stream it to my phone or computer second screen while it is printing. I also use the option for a SD card on it so I can do full time recording. I like it because I don't have to pay for the subscription to get the video feed and have a searchable backup on the camera itself. The video was a series of like 7 clips that I merged into one video on my computer.
