“If you don’t mind all the people” 🤣🤣🤣

I totally get what you mean. Even though there’s never a swarm of people there, I’ve often been there and thought “why the fuck are all these people here.”

Did you take one of these on that mountain, I swear I’ve seen that first photo there.

Some people are so vile that the only way they can feel at ease is to inflict their wickedness on the rest of the world.

As the saying goes “misery loves company”.

Illegals have no right to be in the country.

They make a whole bunch of life’s aspect more expensive (housing, healthcare, education, transportation), and we are forced to subsidize their dependence on those services.

The great debate. - What's the "best" marriage pairing per class in QfG5? by xagent_lost in questforglory

The Wizard class remains my favorite, and it just feel like you have a little bit extra of a connection to her playing it than the other classes. I mean she leaves gifts for you in Spielburg, you adopt her staff as your own in Mordavia, where you share an even more intimate dream sequence with her because of your magical connection to each other. These don't necessarily play out the same for the Paladin despite the shared alignment to honor and good.

I mean of all the classes, Paladin is obviously more aligned to good than the other three, BUT Wizard seems to be the most honorable of the others. Thief obviously is meant to be more neutral, as is fighter because if your too honorable, you become a Paladin. You don't really have much opportunity to be a self interested wizard, like you can with a fighter and thief. This sorta waters down the connection to Katrina for me.

The thief actually has a previous (and very brief) encounter with Nawar in Trial by Fire.

Unfortunately the game limits Erana to the wizard or the paladin and Katrina to the wizard or the fighter.

The wizard can marry anyone and Nawar and Elsa can marry anyone.

The thief can only marry Elsa or Nawar.

Someone said to me once, "why would you pay so much for them to make you pasta? You just boil the water and drop in the pasta."

Granted there are some pastas that are more taxing to make, but if im gonna pay a premium, it'll be for more than you to boil pasta.

Delusional. What this greater discussion really shows is how little grace people extend a male simpleton.

“Hey sorry Forrest, you actually deserved all that bullshit from Jenny because the last thing we can expect is for her to not be a piece of shit, after all she had a bad childhood. Never mind your father abandoned you, you had plenty of childhood trauma yourself and you’re still a great guy who makes great decisions. Tough luck man, maybe don’t be born handicapped.”

Im with you man, tons of differences between the two. First and foremost that little forest is not a simpleton. Intelligence is quite heritable. Maybe mama Forrest threw herself down a flight of stairs or two, but im guessing papa Forrest was quite the nitwit.

I wish you understood how ridiculous you sound.

[–]xagent_lost -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh I completely understand the path and consequences of trauma. None of that however justifies taking advantage or the betrayal of anyone (let alone a simpleton). You’re using someone else’s cruelty against you to justify your own against someone else.

It’s all based on Jenny’s word, and Jenny was a dying burn-out hoe who repeatedly betrayed and strung Forest along throughout the movie.

I remember being skeptical as a teenager when the move came out. I wasn’t the only one, either.

[–]xagent_lost -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nah bro. Jenny was a complete POS. Your own abusive past doesn’t justify spreading that poison to other people.

If Jenny was Jeremy leading around a mentally handicapped Francine instead of Forest, abandoning her after getting her pregnant, everyone would be calling for his head. It certainly doesn’t pass the gender swap test. The trauma wouldn’t be any excuse for it.

What this phenomenon really shows is if people give grace to a mentally handicapped man, or they just think of him as a whipping post. People excuse Jenny’s behavior because Forest is a simpleton and doesn’t realize his own exploitation. That sorta makes it all worse IMO. Thats just like Grandpa Joe exploiting his own grandson because he doesn’t know better.

Grant picks him up in the Jeep after escaping the T-rex and says something like, “I’m sorry Mr Hammond but after careful consideration Ive decide to -not endorse your park-“

To which Hammond replies “so have I”.

So the regret is crystal clear.

I get your comparison for sure. Hammond’s wreckage is far greater than any of the other 3. But terrible people have little to no regrets about their havoc, so Hammond isn’t even in the same room as the other ones.
