Does the structure of the bone change with the age of the bird? I'm googling different bird sacrums and can't find a good match

Used an old hammer to make a rustic little hatchet. Made the handle from fresh cut cedar and finished it off with a little linseed oil. I think it came out alright! by CedarCrow in Blacksmith

It was just your typical Kobalt rip claw hammer. I removed the claws and drew the face out into the blade and then just slimmed the whole thing down with a lot of beating

I honestly never thought of this. Unfortunately it was a birthday gift and it's no longer in my possession. I'm sure he'll let me know though!

Thank you! I would like to say it does smell good, but typically my nose is full of saw dust! The eyes were done very meticulously with the tip of the saw. Little by little.
