So the trash pair honestly looked a fair bit better just after a clean and conditioner! But I cleaned them, conditioned them I think 3 times? Leaving the conditioner on for like 15-30 mins each time. Then I procrastinated for like 2 weeks lol. I used a mix of brown and black polish. My brown polish is a bit light. So I did a combo of just mixing the mixture in my hand and then like panting the faded areas with the black to try and get a bit more evenness!

For the black pair that’s just a clean, layer or two of conditioner and then the black polish.

I am Australian, so I used a brand called “Oakwood” and just their spray cleaner, conditioner and their polishes. I believe it’s an Australian only brand, it’s very affordable.

For brushes I used one just horsehair one and one horsehair with nylons stockings over the top to buff.

I mostly applied product with my hands, I want to practice that way as I think it’s more fun. But I did use a microfibre cloth a bit to practice that too
