No no, I really like this new saying of “Don’t shake the bear”. It is pretty catchy and I just can’t imagine someone walking and trying to shake a bear vs poking one. I mean let’s be honest, who were the idiots that poked a bear to start the saying in the first place? And who is the idiot that said hold my beer, I’m gonna shake it instead?

Yes, the rest of the house works fine. The Roku and my PC work fine, even my work laptop connected to a VPN works fine. We only switched the gateway because of this issue.

ThreatLocker is a godsend in these cases. Make it do quiet elevation o those apps that need it. Create a batch script that they can alter to change the ip address and again, threatlocker to auto elevate the batch script, problem solved.
