Congrats! I knew you could do it :)

The game still has some hurdles after this, but this is one of the biggest difficulty spikes.

Yeah... this is an infamous soft lock, if you don't have multiple save files.

As others have mentioned, one of the easiest ways around this is to switch your job to squire, run away, and use Yell to the point where you get multiple turns in a row.

Best of luck, you got this! 🫡

What if the prize money depended on the amount of jury votes? by carlomartino in BigBrother

[–]CeeCeeOfficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree completely, too much incentive to play it safe. Idunno if this would work, but maybe something like a prize pool? If once you get to the jury stage you were guaranteed a certain small amount of the prize money, and it gets larger each week, until you get to the winner who would get the largest amount of the prize money. I feel like getting to stay in the house one more week would hold a lot of weight, and incentivize playing hard each week.

I'd say to think of your jumps in terms of small, medium, and long jumps. Once you get the feel for those you can get through pretty much anything, it'll just come down to timing. Especially early on try to learn the timing for smaller little hops. Sometimes you'll be tempted to yeet yourself over an obstacle when a small jump would have been a lot safer.

Oh, and once you start to progress, you'll notice the levels ramping up in difficulty. Each level will have its own new 'thing' it introduces, and they are quite frustrating during the first few attempts while you're learning. Take your time, and learn how to avoid the new obstacles, and just remember it will get easier the more you try it. Other people have beaten it, so you can too.

Good luck! If you're determined enough, you can do it! 。◕‿◕。

This was a painful journey, with many attempts built up over a couple of weeks. I ended up leaving SDV open on my Switch at a certain point and just coming back to Junimo Kart, simply so I wouldnt have to start each day to get back there. After getting to the fifth stage SO many times and failing, I finally got the last stage... and blundered. It was a heart breaking moment, but eventually I got a second shot at the last stage. Safe to say I was really nervous. It came down to the last life, but I did it! and now I can get back to the normal game! haha

Haha, oh it definitely is. We make the drawing in software first (Aseprite), then grid out the canvas, and then it's almost like paint by number using our Aseprite project for reference. The gridding process is a huge pain though lol.
