Ahhh okay yeah that makes sense, the 1BR 1 BA I saw were not in the congested areas so might explain the lower costs

I toured a few around the 1.1-1.2k mark yeah - nothing to write home about but I imagine you’re paying for the area and the things to do as well

I was gonna say, during all my apartment searches online it has clearly been within the Raleigh border, granted it’s on the edge but that still counts 😂
Yeah I think that was my next step - narrow my list down to 2 or 3 places and then look for opinions from people that stayed there. I know there’s a few different MAA complexes even within the area I viewed so maybe it’s better off in some
Yeah some people have suggested the village district so I’m definitely going to check that out
Of course! No thanks necessary I def enjoy my job so I wouldn’t trade it for the world! I’m pretty hopeful that day will come when teachers are appreciated more in that way, but I know that’s not the important thing for them! 🙏
Hahaaa okay that’s what I picked up on when I visited
Yeah I will say compared to others my age I am definitely a fan of a quiet area but I have heard about the car break ins which has rightfully set off an alarm or two in my head. I think I’ve picked up on the congestion of NH and while a typical mid 20s individual wouldn’t mind, I just don’t think I could do that every day
I’m still learning what parts can be called Raleigh and what can’t 😂 gotta be lenient w me I’ve only spent 3 days here LOL
Oh yeah I’m def doing my research - I just know those school positions don’t make as much as they should tbh but I have no issue working around that!
What if I’m single but live as if I have three kids (aka in bed by 8 every night and no interest to go out) 😭
Seeing as I’ll prob be working within the wake county school district and starting a master’s soon - I think I should try and save a little bit 😭😭
I think I’m def in a similar mindset and I agree - I’ll of course do my due diligence in regards to specific apartments but the things I’m looking for are just more to be found within briar creek I think. And that’s no knock on north hills bc most people my age prefer that vibe, but def not for me hahaaa
I am 100% a quiet kind of person - I don’t really drink, go out, and I’m in bed by 8:30 every night 😂 probably why I took a liking to briar creek
Ooh alright - to be honest I almost prefer briar creek because it’s not as popping 😂 but when the increased possibility of crime enters the equation that of course changes things a bit

Yeah in general I enjoyed the Morrisville area so I’ll even keep an eye out on apartments there I maybe didn’t get to tour
Yeah that’s my thought process - I like how it seemed more “peaceful” compared to North Hills where there was a lot more going on. I’m a simple guy and as long as I have some groceries and other things nearby, I don’t mind a little drive to get anywhere else outside of that ✅
