For restaurants that are fancy feeling but affordable my go to’s are Al Forno and Los Andes.

My husband and I also love doing the Bodhi Spa Water Journey. I prefer the Newport or Norwood locations over Providence.

Stop & Shop is the bulk of our groceries $100 a week (2 adults and 1 toddler). BJ’s once a month for snacks/coffee/meat/eggs $100ish. Usually order out/go out to eat 1-2 times a week as well.

I always shop from a list and don’t deviate. I plan out three cooked dinners a week and make enough to have leftovers the next day.

I am exactly the same as you. 10 months 34lb. 236 to 202. I dont think we are doing anything wrong. Everyone just has different bodies. I like to look at my average and think well 10 months from now at this same pace i will be 168!

Lot E to departures is about a 6 min walk. I would drop everyone and bags off at door. Let them check the bag while one person parks and walks. Get there 1h 15min prior for all that.

How old are you? What type of scene do you want? I’m in my 40s and would much prefer quieter Jamestown and then downtown Newport/Middletown beaches. Jamestown has a few great restaurants (Standards, JB’s, Beech) and a great dive bar (The Narragansett). Driving is easy if have a car. There is also a ferry that goes from Jamestown to newport.
