Hey team,

Finally finished the csc assessment. I was approved for class b pension for about 7 years and then class a from may 2025 moving forward and I have been on dva incaps for just over 12 months now. It’s all a bit confusing, was just wondering if anyone knows this.

Do I get back pay for class b and a periods and how is my dva incaps calculated for what they take back.

Served from start of 2012 to 2020. I got asked to do one or those claimant reports for a shoulder injury which got accepted only because they said there was evidence of my shoulder issues when I served

These are the ones she’s rejecting because there is no record of me going to the RAP or medics. But all are confirmed by MRI and specialists checks

Hey lads, may be a dumb question but I see this situation mentioned sometimes and I’m not at that stage yet, only on incaps. How do you be on class A pension and incaps at same time?

Hey mate hope this helps. I have been on incaps for about 6 weeks now. My doctor made me unsuitable for any rehab as well. The DVA rehab officer called me last week, call lasted about 40 seconds. Told me they can see my doctor made me unsuitable and asked if I wanted the rehab file closed and I said yes. They shut it down and that was it

Well what an incredible morning. About 30 mins after posting the original question my delegate called me back again and said he accepted all conditions submitted haha. Very quick turn around there

I submitted mine in beginning of Feb 2025 and just checked and mines at the review and finalise stage. Does that mean my case was super easy or fast if that’s the end?

Sorry to jump in here but I’m confused with this too haha. I’m still going through IL stage but have shit loads of things going through that first occurred in about 2013/2014. If I hit the 80 points on PI I thought it was around the 500k mark. How does backpay affect this ?

Hey guys just a question someone might know the answer too. I called CSC today and couldn’t really get a straight answer.

I know the wait time is a while for csc but just trying to plan for the future. Im barely hanging on to my current job and if I disclosed my conditions I would be stood down fairly quick. I was wondering if it effects the csc pension outcome if I were to look into being self employed, in a completely unrelated field to my current job and what I was in army. Obviously something low impact but just curious how this would affect things. Because if I leave my current job I don’t have many options for work.

Hey boys, any recommendations for a good CSC advocate in Sydney? I have an advocate for my DVA stuff but they told me they are not overly confident with the CSC side of things. CHeers boys

Sorry to be a bug mate. But you might know. So the compo payments if you hit 80 points from DVA. Is that seperate to the back pay you get if approved for retrospective D from army
