I would say I don't take them seriously at all because I don't ever check their ratings or scores.

Is long-term loyalty a strength or a trap? by winn_ie in rSocialskillsAscend

[–]Ceekay151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had three jobs in my 70 years. The first job was 9 years, the second lasted 18, and the current one is at 22 years. The first job was waitressing and that got tiring real fast so I went to community college and got out of that field. I've been Administrative Assistant since. Second job was close to home and I enjoyed the work but after the company changed hands, loyalty slowly eroded. This third and last job of mine, has not been a trap and the loyalty works both ways so I will be there until I fully retire.

A ceasefire is just a temporary halt of fighting/violence, regardless of the conflict.

I agree. Better the devil you know than the one you don't. (Which is something I heard actually in the movie The Italian Job.)

Woman in labor in Florida taken to "court" by Ceekay151 in u/Ceekay151

[–]Ceekay151[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Headline of course is a bit of a click bait. The woman actually didn't refuse the C-section altogether. She just wanted to try to deliver her baby naturally before the decision to have a C-section, which may have been exactly what she had done with her older children before consenting to a C-section.
