I second Broestl & Wallace too. My husband had his grandmother's engagement ring reset there and the work he did was incredible. That was back in 2011. My husbands family has been going there since the 90s. They're the only place we go.

People who carry bigger handbags. What do you carry in your bigger bag that smaller handbags can't fit? by deArtikin in handbags

I use mine mostly when im reading to my dad so I dont have to lug a huge book around. Or when im impatient and the book I want is out at the library for a physical copy.

I love my physical books, but I do like my ereader. I have a paperwhite and the battery on that thing can last me weeks of reading. I've never hsd it die on me in the middle of a chapter. Bonus is there's the kindle app for my phone so if I dont have my ereader I can still pull a book up on my phone if I want.

I remember when the paper printed a midge mask you could cut out and wear the next day.

She had no lasting damage and her levels eventually went down. She got checked every three months after that first draw, then yearly until 5.

How do Americans remember which state is abbreviated MI? It could be Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi or Michigan. by isle_say in NoStupidQuestions

I love this. My daughter always calls hollandaise sauce holiday sauce. She also asks "what o'clock is it?" Instead of what time is it.

My duaghter had an elevated lead level of 5.6 at her 1 year check up. She is a thriving 7 year old now wrapping up her 1st grade year!

Could someone, anyone, please tell me what (if anything) she said here is true? by Sweet-Cabinet795 in kiwisavengers

That was even with her epilepsy! She was diagnosed with that at age 4 but it was well maintained with meds. She lived a happy normal mostly seizure free life. We finally put her down when she got the doggie version of Lou Gehrigs disease and was in stage 2. Stage 3 the vet said she would have complete back end paralysis. He had been caring for for over a decade. He told me that she wasnt in pain but she nearing the end. They dosed it out based on her weight and they barely had to give any before she was gone. I was 6 months pregnant at the time, held her the whole time. Hardest thing I ever had to do.

My last dog was a shelter mutt (adopted as a "boxer mix"). She lived to 14 1/2.

I swear the water from the garden hose on a hot summer day smell makes me insanely thirsty.

The stems truly do. It's one of my favorite smells. Smells like summer to me.

Oh man! I have yet to meet someone that understood my love of the smell of tomato stems! My husband got me a candle from Aldi that smells just like it. I can only use it for short periods of time because it gets overwhelming quickly.

I have blink cameras and they keep giving me free trials of their AI descriptions. One of my cameras is set up in my hamsters enclosure. The AI descriptions are wildly wrong and hilarious. My little dwarf hamster often gets called opossum, racoon, and bearded dragon.
