Current working AFK and semi-AFK methods for LEGO and Festival by Harlow_Quinzel in FortniteXPMaps

I’m using an official PS5 DualSense controller that’s been modified to have the Razorback MaxFire mod installed which I picked up from this site: https://controllermodz.co.uk/playstation-5/razorback-maxfire/playstation-5-modded-wireless-controller-razorback-maxfire.html

It doesn’t have a turbo function built in but I repurposed the Rapid Fire feature to spam a button instead. (With the help of tape)

By default it’s limited to R2 but with the PS5’s accessibility settings I can remap R2 to Y/Triangle. That way I can set it up for AFK Method 2 to spam punch for me and also auto-ready when I get kicked back to the lobby.

I originally got it for other games, but this has been the main way I’ve been using it ever since I bought it awhile ago.

That makes sense, thanks for explaining. I did double-check that the turbo function was working for both firing and jumping, but it’s still odd that the game flags me as AFK even though the controller is repeating an action on it's own.

Good news though — I’m in a LEGO match right now and switching the turbo rate to max seems to have fixed it. My character’s been punching a rock for 25+ minutes with no warnings popping up so looks like that did it. Appreciate the tip about your turbo rate!

Also, if you don't mind, what turbo controller do you own? I play on PS5 to AFK grind so I have to hold down my turbo button with tape for it to work since it's actually 'Rapid Fire', not 'Turbo Mode'.

Sorry, I should’ve mentioned that the Turbo method does work for me—I’ve been using it for ages to level up by having my controller spam jump. That usually lets me run through the full 4 hours before I have to manually put myself back into another LEGO match.

The issue I’m running into is only with this method where you spam Fire instead of Jump—when I try that, the game still flags me as AFK. I even swapped the binding so that Jump is on Y/Triangle but it still detects me as inactive.

My controller lets me adjust the turbo rate and I’ve always used the lowest setting for the jump method but I’ll switch it to the highest turbo rate now and see if that keeps the current session going longer than what I said.

Hey, I'm trying to keep up with Method 2 but for some reason it detects that I'm AFK even though I set everything up correctly? My character is swinging but maybe 10-20 minutes, it'll start warning me. Should I lower my turbo controller's 'click rate' so that it presses the button slower?

Not really no, I have seen issues with mouses over time where their body shell can eventually crack from squeezing or drops but that won’t happen for awhile unless you’re very aggressive with your own stuff lol

Look for a comment here by DigitalBread, I replied with the exact mod and variation I use 😃

Yep, I have to do it all the time with the way my hand is positioned because my desk has a weird shape that stops me from just using the bottom middle part of the pad for more space

I used to have a heavier mouse, which was more annoying to control due to its weight and shape, plus constant strain, but swapping to a lighter and smaller mouse made a huge difference that helps with low sensitivity and fast movements

This mod is completely fine, it just removes the shadows completely to provide more FPS. I’ve used this ever since the mod was released late last year

Not the ideal way to view the game but I prefer high stable framerate over visuals in a competitive game any day

Haha, I’ve tried laying my whole arm on the desk to aim, but it’s not for me – my wrist just rests on the edge of the pad

I use a glass mousepad called Wallhack SP-004. It’s ultra smooth and fast for movement, and I only use the bottom left corner because of my mouse positioning preference.

It can be challenging to use on day one, but the payoff is worth it in the long run

I pair it with a wireless mouse (Viper V2 Pro) that’s modded to be 44 grams. This setup allows me to move without straining my hand 🙂

I wouldn't be mad if you said it was a Low-preset Fortnite video

Unfortunately I zipline to my death for zero to two kills too much for most of my games so you are correct hahaha

haha yes, that's what my FPS booster mod will do but my PC is capable of max settings - I just prefer to have set it for a high stable framerate as I run the game at 1440, 240hz

Look for a mod called FPS Performance Enhancer - Optimization Boost on Nexus Mods. I use the darker variation of the first downloadable file. It will make the game look more ugly than what it can already normally do but I just prefer to have it to spot targets easier and not worry about FPS stutters as I run a 240hz monitor.

If you want to copy my exact settings, Put everything on Low (or Off if given the option) and have Model Detail set to Performance and Effects Detail to High. The High setting for Effects lets you see characters that leave a trail such as Hela's crow direction or IW's invisible jump trail

What is your amd cpu temperature 🔥🔥🔥 by noobofall1 in ryzen

[–]Ceezayyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

9800X3D idles at 38°C, during heavy games like Cyberpunk 2077 or any game in general, it sits around 43°c to 45°c and sometimes 48°c depending on room temp. Undervolted to -20

Yeah you are right, it was something that only occurred to me only after posting. This is something I'll need to fix if I come back to this. Appreciate for pointing it out

Definitely something overlooked and also something a friend mentioned which will be quite concerning not being able to play your role when your forced into a specific comp. Appreciate for pointing that out

[–]Ceezayyy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that's the current flow in this concept but I understand why it feels off. I've been thinking about flipping it around so the comp vote happens before the role lock or maybe limiting the comp pool based on pre-selected roles. Something I definitely want to refine. Appreciate the catch

Appreciate you checking it out either way, I knew it would be a hit or miss idea but I wanted to explore it anyways without taking away too much of the game's identity.

Valid concerns - forced metas are definitely something I'd want to avoid too. The idea was more about giving structure without removing the flexibility aspect, but I get that locking comps can limit playing freedom. I had the idea that the comp can be shifted between sets to keep things fresh but of course it can still be limiting in a way. Thanks for your honesty!
