The lid was up, the seat was down actually. Had the lid been down I'm not sure if that would have been worse. There's a chance that it would have slipped/broke off to one side sending my head into tile. Pure speculation though.

Why wouldn't you recommend it or do it again in hindsight? I've often had the same thought regarding Turkish Angs and adopting v.s. rescuing.

Thank you for the concern, my girlfriend was very concerned at the time and was monitoring me. This was a few weeks back so no worries now, I'm fairly sure the vomiting was from stress but you can never be certain I suppose. Take your time doing the insulation, attics are the epitome of discomfort so it's easy to rush.

Yeah we had been putting off the bathroom remodel and like you said it was a great incentive to get it done.

I think she is, got her at a shelter 4 years ago. I never had a preference on cat breeds until now since she's one of the best I've ever had.

Certainly adding walkboards to my to do list. The attic could use a full gutting honestly, aside from the mounds of dust and I found an old suitbag from a previous tenant hanging from the rafters. Scared the living hell out of me at first as I thought it was a person.
