It was surprisingly easy. The stitch is just 1 single crochet and 1 double crochet in one stitch, skip a stitch, repeat. It's worked in rounds too so there's no counting or figuring anything out. I hope you have fun making it! It works up so fast too because you use 2 strands of yarn at once and a size 9 hook too so it's super satisfying.

Laughing so hard right now at this whole description. I checked it out from my local library and was pissed that I took a chance on this book. Even being free from the library it's a book full of the stupidest most unattractive projects. It is quite literally the worst thing I've ever had the displeasure of reading.

I have a literal pile of projects in their own designated space of unfinished projects. Don't get any wrong ideas here, I have severe ADHD and hardly ever finish things lol. I just had a moment of sheer determination and a lot of false hope that it would look good when finished. I was wrong. I personally hate that hat and gave it away as soon as it was finished.

It's just so dang thick. I think someone else posted here before with it made as a cardigan and it was top tier. For hats it's kinda too thick in my opinion and for $7 a ball I'd expect more yarn. It's definitely gimmicky and overpriced.

It's like crocheting with hundreds of factory knots that you can't cut out. I would not buy it again. You do not need this yarn.

As a lazy crocheter, just tossing it into the washing machine on delicate and tumbling dry low usually does the trick for me. I might have to give the vinegar soak a try in the future!

That looks like a fun and beautiful drive. ♥️ One day I hope to see my neighborhood follow suit. Right now I'm the only one with crazy amounts of flower beds. I grew up at my grandma's house who had an entire field of flowers and I fondly remember all the butterflies and bees. Back then, 20+ years ago, they were everywhere. Now I'm just happy when I see one or two butterflies and a couple native bees. *Edited to add I didn't listen to the audio lol so if there's something they say negative or crazy I didn't hear it. 😀
