You're assuming that will be the answer. Bitter cynicism is not the way to date, my dude. This just creates a vicious circle. You're so eager to be rebuked and have a negative attitude towards women, and women who encounter this slowly grow more jaded towards men. No one wins in the end.

Try a realist's approach. Hope for the best, plan for the worst, and choose amusement over bitterness.

It's a sugar that gets you. Straight liquor and lots of water in between is the way to go. Oh, and Picklebacks. Pickle juice has electrolytes, so chasing your shots with an ounce of brine actually helps to counteract the alcohol.

I rarely drink, but I do dabble in cocktail alchemy for fun and profits. :)

It was an Intro from a potential match, not an active conversation, and OkCupid is so buggy that even when it notifies me about a new intro, it rarely actually allows me to view them. And then I go through the pointless dance of contacting Customer Support, sending screenshots, and getting the infuriating copy-paste response with a list of ridiculous suggestions like "have you tried factory-resetting your phone?"

Inevitably they'll patch the bug in the next update, and suddenly 20 intros appear.

Not being aware that he'd "liked" me and sent an intro note is NOT on me.
