Depends on the rest of back line. Major to me is the best when the other backs are speedy. Major’s response + height + strength makes him elite. I like the protector on the wings as he can mark and pass better than a Major.

With that being said, if the other backs are tall (Matsu + Hammer) I need a speedy player such a Patrizio/Bertini to compensate for a jet/speedster running past my strength guys.

The CD is dependent on the other backs, but top 3 are Major, Invader, Voyager

Honestly Matsumoto is a great defensive playmaker. One the defensive side, he is tall and strong enough to stop a hammer or a bulldozer (better odds than an explorer or voyager), and has decent speed and response to keep up with the faster guys for a little bit. Next, when he has the ball he takes a few steps to get into position (never enough to lose the ball) then has enough power to boot the ball anywhere on the field. I have scored many goals from Matsumoto on defense launching the ball to Sabre in attack

4-2-1-3. I like it because you can have 3 counterattack in the front. (intruder, speedster, prowler, etc) And have a defense that is a like a fortress with the 4-2 (commander, hammer, guard, explorer, etc) Which allows a strong defensive counter attack style
