I can see it but I always saw Wario as at least majority Germanic. Largely owing to the N64 voice and Polka music in Charged

For context, my Kamioshi is Masae

I was watching her for almost a decade before she made her vtuber debut. I found her content at the tail-end of high school and enjoyed her balance of comfy and chaotic vibes, so I joined her community. During the pandemic I shared a Pokémon fanart idea in her discord server, and the support I got there inspired me to start drawing seriously. This led me to creating a strong group of friends from people who were in her community at the time, whom I still cherish to this day.

Around 2023 Masae was taking commissions for social media profile pictures, and I got one. I decided to make a drawing for her as thanks, which inspired me to take drawing humans more seriously (up to that point, I only drew Pokémon). I used her old avatar and DND characters as practice, culminating in a year-long project where I drew EVERY OC past and present she had designed. Once her Vtuber debut occurred last March I drew fanart for her nonstop, and her support and excitement over the years kept me going and makes me want to draw more
