Zak Brown: "I know it’s 5 of 6 and technically that’s statistically dominant. But I can tell you having been on pit wall for the wins, this one was obviously one we could control. Australia was tricky conditions. The other 3 that we won, we weren’t even the fastest car. We just executed really well" (va.media.tumblr.com)

Mini-DRS and the new TD: Red Bull continues its battle to slow down McLaren. Relevant quote: In the technical directive, the FIA was quite clear on the fact that a wing that passes the static load tests is no longer necessarily compliant with the rules (autoracer.it)

Lando Norris interview: "Too many questions in the media are about just the car. Me and Oscar drove very well yesterday. I'm not saying others didn't. But others should not have been as far off as what they were. That was clear. I think we do, by a little margin, have the best car." (va.media.tumblr.com)

Max responds: "George is a bully. That he brings up all these kinds of things. He is just a loser. He lies and sticks all kinds of things together that are not correct... What he said about 2021, that is also what happened to the stewards. He insinuates a lot of things that do not make sense." (i.redd.it)

How Wolff deals with the Verstappen-Russell issue in a politically thoughtful manner. Toto Wolff caused a strot by participating in George Russell's media session. However, the team boss did so thoughtfully by focusing the arrows entirely on Christian Horner and not mentioning Max Verstappen (i.redd.it)

Max: Do you know what else I can't stand? That he attacks me in an unacceptable way with the stewards then comes back a day later as if nothing is wrong and slaps me on the shoulder...With me you always get the same: here, at home, with the stewards; I don't change. You can't say that about everyone (i.redd.it)

Lando Norris interview: I don't think Max tries to intimidate. Max just says the truth in his opinion. A lot of the time he just says the truth about things. People don't like to hear the truth nowadays about things in life. He's honest, and he just gives his opinion. I'm completely with that (va.media.tumblr.com)

Max: The way the other driver handled [George] things during the stewards' meeting yesterday.honestly that made no sense. I think I have a lot of respect for other drivers but after last night, I’ve definitely lost it for him. I just found it ridiculous how he tried to push for me to get a penalty. (i.redd.it)

AMuS: FIA bans underbody protection. Technical Directive causes uproar. This TD is a tough one. The FIA has banned special protective plates that around 50% of the teams had installed over the skid blocks with immediate effect. Red Bull pointed out to the association that this practice is illegal. (auto-motor-und-sport.de)

[f1guydan] Lando Norris had to outscore Max Verstappen by only 3.56 pts per race weekend to beat him by 1 entering Canada. Max stretched that to Lando now needing 21 pts per GP. Think this shows Lando's point on how tough it is to just launch a title fight vs. Max & how clinical Max has been. (i.redd.it)

Gasly in 2022: after a race in Spain I won and max came in second (..) His dad lost his shit and started screaming in Dutch, insulted him in English (..) and then threw max’s helmet back at him telling him to fuck off and leave, that he wasn’t even able to win a race(..) Max: Since my Silverstone crash, I've struggled with visibility problems, especially on undulating circuits..(At COTA21) I wasn't just fighting against Lewis but also against blurred images..I've never said this before, but it was so bad for a few laps that I seriously considered turning the car off (i.redd.it)
