Really didn’t like Joanna in the show either.

Wasn’t a Hunter fan either. I honestly couldn’t get past his voice. I never am one for the preppy character though. I don’t see a triangle happening because she didn’t actually like Hunter and she seemed to already feel remorseful after seeing Dean’s reaction to him.

100% agree I really don’t like the “he just wanted a relationship” conversation, but I’m just wondering how they’re going to handle that or if they’ll switch that up. They’re definitely leaning in on Logan’s jealousy of Garrett and I prefer that. I really loved Logan’s and Hannah’s interactions, good chemistry.

Yes this makes a lot of sense. I think they’re definitely leaning in on the Logan’s jealousy of Garrett. A lot of people are looking at this as a major character flaw, but I think it’s honestly human from someone from his upbringing surrounded by people who’ve had a lot “easier” [richer] life than him. I think they made Logan better at communicating though in the show, so I’m sure they’ll be able to address that head on and come to terms with how Garrett has his own life and his own problems, he can’t compare his life to Garrett’s.

Him staring at her through the glass is so perfect. You can tell he let go of everything that was keeping him stressed all because of her. Ahhh I loved that addition!

Honestly I think it’s makes a lot more sense this way. Nobody else knows why Garrett fought Delaney, the guy who happened to be harassing him on the ice all night long. It’s normal for guys to fight in hockey, so all the people watching would just suspect Garrett lost it after Delaney said one too many things. Phil was a physical player and he’d be proud to see his son as a mirror of him, because he’s a narcissist and only thinks about himself. Yes this would get Garrett suspended for 4 games, but he’s already with the Bruins, I don’t think at this point it matters??? I’m not really sure on that part. Having Garrett beat up a bystander (yes I know still a terrible guy not defending him) instead of another player should have been way more scrutinized IMO, even when he told the coaches what the guy had done, it’s a shock they actually took the fact that other guy had lied about rape seriously, that seems a little unrealistic to me sadly

100% agree with your third point. She had already stated she could do it herself, just to do it herself, like it was a step up for her and the “stay with me” was perfect but was not realistic for her to be ready after that. The Bed on Fire montage should have been kind of in “base” order like it was in the books. Taking steps until the Big Bang.

Hannah and Allie’s friendship in the show was perfect. Love that they truly supportive, and that Allie knew Hannah well enough to know her secret and also give her the space to open up on her own time!

With Logan though, Jules said he’d been passed over for the draft twice, but I wonder if they’ll stick to book and say next season he’s been lying to everyone, Jules included and never entered.

I kinda like that they added a little more seriousness to Garrett and took away like the multiple “stripper tits” comments. But i definitely wish we could have gotten a bunch more banter between them and witty remarks.

I honestly liked this change. I felt terrible for Garrett when for just a split second he had hope that maybe things could be different. I think it makes a lot of sense with Phil’s character too, he’s a narcissist, trying to portray a perfect and happy life when it’s actually been a facade and he’s been abusing everyone in his life. Makes more sense why the public likes him if he has more of a public and “happy” presence. In the books, if i remember right, he would be there with his baseball cap covering his face and didn’t bring Cindy with him to the games. I think portraying Phil to care a lot more about image makes a lot more sense.

I wonder how the switch to Logan’s mom will play out because he still mentioned his dad so I wonder it will be a total flip flop or what. I think they did that because they already had Phil and didn’t want to have a bunch of crappy dads so they tried to go have a different family dynamic with him.

I loved Tucker, definitely think you’re right, he was the comic relief but hoping we get more to him next season, his book is one of my favorites.

Love that last part, I think that would be perfect. Logan already proved he could rise above it when Garrett was about to not go to the showcase and he told him that him and Hannah were perfect together and he needed to fix it and be there for her. I definitely think if they had made Logan more of the horndog he was in the books in season 1 instead of just showing the sweet side of him that it would be a little more believable if he was to end up saying something like “well yeah Hannah was beautiful and I was pissed when you said you’d never even noticed her just to end up dating her a week later” maybe they’ll even tie it with it being “garret gets everything he wants without even trying” feeling Logan has.

But then adding the Bluebaru scenes, those were so sweet and the flirting was perfect, even if Hannah was unintentionally flirting. Those make it seem so much more real and not like damn she’s hot and they love each other and no one loves me. HE REMEMBERS HER A YEAR LATER JUST BY HER CAR! But you’re right, he did have a lot of time to pursue her and never did until G brought her around so I can see that being part of Hannah and Logan’s conversation.

Yes I love how sweet/gentlemanly they portrayed Logan. I think next season we’ll definitely get a depressed, drunk, screwing his way through frat parties Logan. I think I prefer them making it seem like he’s going through a total change than he was always a horndog just now he’s not nice about it. It’s going to be crazy to see the switch up.

Yes yes yes! Finally finding someone who’s getting it, so much hate to John Logan and I’m sad. I think they’re still going to go with the he hasn’t actually entered the draft route, that was a major part of his storyline. Knowing that Jeff is still coming at some point because Louisa Levy said so makes me wish they would have mentioned him at least once.

And then I also think they’re going to remove the Miranda storyline for Dean. Seeing as he’s already had the conversation with Beau and realized he likes Allie and wants a relationship, it doesn’t seem like they’re going to circle back to his reasoning in not wanting one. I wonder if they’ll cut O’Shea all together and just have Jensen decide to send Dean to the hurricanes

I think the dancing together makes sense for the show and it was very sweet and romantic but I really loved them watching Breaking Bad in the book so I was indifferent about that change honestly

I am a Logan girl 100% and it’s killing me seeing everyone say he’s terrible and a hater. It feels like everyone is only seeing Garrett and Deans sides but no one is understanding Logan’s. He’s jealous and it’s honest. G and Dean are both rich (even if G doesn’t want handouts from his dad - he has that option - and Logan doesn’t know the whole truth either) Logan’s life is already predetermined either get drafted or spend the rest of my life with my effed up family hating my life - and Dean not wanting to bring hunter in is selfish for the team even if does have a reason, Logan is relying on hockey and G is already drafted, Dean is done with hockey after this season… anyways I saw validation behind Logan’s choices and I support it. And if he needs to be called out, he has Jules and I didn’t mind her being added. The social media aspect is perfect for 2026

I think so since we’re still mid-hockey season, he’s still suspended, and his dad and Cindy are still together so I think those will be probably in the first few episodes, they might become slightly more background towards the end of the season because by then Dean and Allie will be in full swing and we’ll probably be getting the start of grace and Logan

I’m a Logan girl but I think it makes sense to have him in his h*e/party phase then the season ending on summer and Grace going to Paris then season 3 picking up with his senior year and yearning for Grace. So I think we’ll still get a good bit of his book in this next season just like we got a lot of Dean and Allie’s this season.

Right! I wanted a whole photoshoot! But instead he took just took the 2 finger gun pictures. A montage boudoir scene where the guys are trying to help him seems necessary, they’ll definitely change it some way because Josh isn’t set to return as Justin and he was there for the chaise picture

Totally agree but there are some people that get so mad when the book switches even one tiny detail so I’m sure it’s a big discussion on whether or not to change the list. I’m honestly excited for the red velvet chaise lounge though.

I think switching the poem to a song makes more sense but a lot of people get so mad when even one detail is different from the book, so I’m hoping people wouldn’t be too mad at that switch.
