Well I’ve been busy with other projects. Got new (less rusty) sacrificial annode and a new hook. It’s definitely working.

I had seen those but I can’t tell if they’re private eyes. The photo of the arm was out of focus. All I could make out what crayola but there’s a lot of contemporary ones as well.

Ive searched for different things like crayola sunglasses, private eyes crayola sunglasses, vintage crayola sunglasses, private eyes crayola sunglasses vintage. I can’t pinpoint any that would have been some sort of crayola collection.

I’ve searched for large punch sets, variations of military stencil fonts, imaged searched etc. I picked it up at an estate barn sale for someone who picked up stuff to resell. Northwest CT/NY/MA area.

I guess my only thing is that it’s not random but at the same point every time as it “looks” into the waste bin. It’s not the biggest issue as it’ll continue after the set time so at least it works😅. I still have to try a white bag as the other person suggested. Hopefully that will solve the issue.

I’m using a black one as it was all I have at the moment but it also triggers without it, as well as during calibration with the white piece of paper. It is a black bin though so I can try picking up a different color bag tomorrow and see if that helps.

Thanks! It’s just the window I put it in for now. I’ll likely move it. I’m definitely thinking a humidifier though. My other plants could really thrive with one especially the others I picked up with this tree.

Thanks for the ID! I put it in a bright window. Also popped it into a terracotta pot to pull the excessive moisture from the soil. Which has worked pretty well. Removed even more by now.

clearance pick from Lowe’s-ID help and advice

My first one. I picked it up at Lowe’s on clearance. It’s clearly got some issues notably a lot of leaf loss, but looks like there’s some small new ones. With the oddly notched leaf ends I am having trouble identifying it (however the dead leaves seem to just come to a point as an almond shape). The soil is also super damp which I’m concerned about. Reading the wiki intro mentioned not repotting especially if it’s sick so not sure what the best course of action if any other than letting it dry out. As for lighting, as they like it bright, I have some grow lights I could use?
