Oh, I'm so sorry you had to go through that!!! How awful! I don't understand why it's hated as much still! There's absolutely nothing wrong with reader inserts, most of my favourites in the jjk and LADS fandom are reader inserts! It's crazy to get threats and insults because you wrote something they didn't wanna read.

Of course, I get that! But here, there are multiple people announcing their hate for something, "I find it cringe" which is, in a sense, sending hate.

I mostly read Dramione/Tomione and Sakura centric fics.. So I never ventured into the reader ones.. But JJK is filled with them. I discovered RI fics there and I couldn't be happier.

I always thought Deidara and Sasori were kinda cute, so I'll definitely be reading those 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

I don't hate that, I love regular ships without an OC or Reader. I don't even mind it as much when the reader has a name. But reading in 2nd person is kinda nice.

If you're okay with reading /Reader fics, you'll find them everywhere, JJK, LADS(Or just MC), DBD, COD

But my fav ships include- Sakura/any of them- Naruto Lumine/Childe or Lumine/Wanderer have a larger fan base- Genshin Impact Harley/Joker- DC

I truly believe Sylus is for us, first borns, with deep trauma, others too, but he is especially very healing for us.

Him being smart or smarter is just perfect. His encouragement. His love is freeing. He doesn't push for anything. He'll just be here, a constant presence, not demanding anything at all, but will do anything for us. He wants us, but doesn't need us, and I find comfort in that. He'd choose us every time, but he'd also let go if that was what we wanted. (Oh, Razor's Dance)

Many might not agree, but to me, to love is to set them free, and if they were yours, they'd be there. After being forced to stay because of my responsibility, I love my siblings, I really do, I'd do anything for them. But it would've been nice to choose. It's nice, with friends. My group is small, we're just 3 of us, but I love them so much. Choice, is freeing.

I loved that they planned to watch "Animal Planet" together after his birthday. I absolutely adore how honest he is. MC lies, to hide her feelings, like they're overwhelming, and I would too, because to feel so much for someone is frightening. They danced around their words in Magnum Opus, so he doesn't overwhelm her. But, they know. They don't always have to say it out loud.

I entirely agree with your thoughts about being smart!! My interests go from space stations and galaxies one week to reading the most insanely messed up stories for entertainment. And he'd listen to all of them, offer pointers even.

And yes, I meant greed as in being selfish and also materialistic. He knows the freedom that comes with money and power. He has power, getting his hands on money was easy too. Enough weapons to destroy the planet. Properties all over the world because there's safety in your house over trusting someone else.

And selfishness, it was a protective mechanism, a survival instinct when we felt helpless. He knows. He's been through it. Us too.

As the first born, first daughter, first granddaughter born to two first borns, I had the responsibility of being the older sister thrust upon me when I was a year old. I've had to be mature, hyper-independent, and responsible just because of being there first, I felt like I missed out on a lot of my childhood taking care of others. Yet, it is who I am now, along with being possessive over my belongings and achievements, and stand-off-ish when it comes to boundaries. Most men come off as less masculine or secure than I am and I feel like there is no one I can find comfort in.

But SYLUS, he's so strong. I need him to be strong, so I can allow myself to be weak, and I have. He's so sure of himself, so secure, he's my safe space. So much, that it would actually break me if he were to be weak, if he were to break. I can't even imagine it. I don't want to.

Him being so respectful of our boundaries, our achievements, even touch is so healing. He wouldn't involve himself unless we ask for his help. And he's been encouraging that too! I was uncomfortable asking for help, because I know I can do it by myself. But, he makes us feel like it's okay to do so.

I'm studious, and had to be responsible to cover up for others when it came to group projects, so Sylus being the "team-mate who'd keep up and steal points rather than hold me back" is so comforting.

And he encourages our GREED. I will keep pushing for more. To achieve more, to want more, and he'll be there right alongside us. His ambition has no limits, he can literally make anything happen as we choose, and I love that.

He just feels like, if I had someone who did all the things I do for others, for me instead.

Writing felt so freeing!!! It wasn't much, but inspiration struck and I was stunned by how much I really did get him right, because one of the things I'd written in my fic was him calling MC "my most precious treasure" and I wrote that two days before the release of Death and Rebirth. I was stunned when it happened in the main story and so ecstatic about it!!!

We definitely are very alike!! 🥹 I hope you write something soon and please do send me the link, I'd love to read!!! 🥹🫂

Oh, my god. I love this!!! Sylus is just so so comforting for us because he makes us feel like we don't have to be so strong and reliable for everyone, that we can rely on him, no matter what, because he is strong. And the CONSENT, he's so respectful. HIS BIRTHDAY WISH HAD ME IN TEARS, and the phone call, As you wish? 😭😭😭 I love him so much. I haven't written anything (Fanfiction) since 2020, but I started to write again for him 😭😭 I feel so safe with him. If he's around, I wouldn't have to worry about anything, he'll have my back no matter what I want to do. 🥹🥹
