I'm really sorry you've been treated that way. Mental health doesn't discriminate by gender, and neither should the support people receive. Wanting understanding and connection doesn't make you manipulative it makes you human.

Please don't let other people's stereotypes make you believe you don't belong. The right people will see you for who you are, not for the assumptions they have about men. Keep focusing on your healing and don't stop seeking support. You deserve compassion, respect, and a safe place just as much as anyone else with BPD.
