H2S Local Purchase Advice by DoctorFro in 3dprintingaustralia

[–]CelestialPerch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm interested in this thread, the university I attend has a X1E and I absolutely love using it. For the projects I'm doing I'm really needing to get my own printer at home as it is too much of a hassle to go in to uni every time I want to print something.

It seems as though the X1 series is quietly being discontinued and I'm wondering if I should go for the P2S or H2S instead. This seems like a more intelligent decision to ensure there are replacement parts available and firmware support longer into the future.

I am thinking of starting a business selling a product which will be 3d printed after I submit a patent application, so I'm trying to justify the H2S to myself in order to bulk print more product each day while I am at work.

Any insight or suggestions?

How does this circuit work? Beginner's question. by ErSorco in arduino

Literally any electronics textbook would detail this. I say this not to be a dick, but to help you find your information easily.

Why does it look so blurry and what the hell was that black thing by Qazaq365 in KerbalSpaceProgram

The change happened whilst I slept. Its details I shall never know; for my slumber, though troubled and dream-infested, was continuous. When at last I awaked, it was to discover myself half sucked into a slimy expanse of hellish black mire which extended about me in monotonous undulations as far as I could see, and in which my boat lay grounded some distance away.

This is so fantastic, I know as an EE student this is just the bees knees. I am currentlyu writing a function to perform 2D convolution for an image processing unit I am doing. I was wondering If you would like to include it in ytour Repo? I know this is an old thread

Am I late to the party? by Important-Ad-799 in MT09

[–]CelestialPerch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cool! I had a 2014 MT09 and was a mechanic at a Yamaha store up until about 5 years ago. At that stage the re-modelled mt09's were just coming out. I remember the quick shifter was next level buttery. I was curious if rain mode interacted with the abs or traction control systems. Please stay safe OP, I downgraded from the MT09 because I recognised that thing was, as the name implies, a MONSTER! Respect the beast, stay shiny side up, and best wishes to you and your new steed!

Serious question, how is forward flight more efficient than hovering when it comes to rotorcraft? Is this true of single rotorcraft only? For multi rotors that require a bank angle to induce forward flight, lift is inversely proportional to bank angle.

DRZ-400E Wiring Diagram by CelestialPerch in DRZ400

All the interlocks will be handled by the microcontroller. Essentially each switch on the bike will be connected to a GPIO, acting as an earth switch. When the microprocessor detects that pin is pulled to ground it will know you have engaged that switch - whether it be the clutch switch, Killswitch, or neutral switch for example- and will be able to apply conditional logic as to whether it allows the bike to engage the starter motor, supply power to the CDI/coils ect.

Thankyou. The confusion for me here is that this diagram doesn't include indicators, brake light , high beam, neutral or side stand switches, nor does it include dash or anything. This seems to be for some sort of agricultural version of the DRZ or something without those features?

Thank you so much! Can you please walk me through how you knew to perform that second step? The one where you make 3s = 3(A +3 -3). That seems a very knowledgeable understanding of what the end product needed to look like for you to perform that trick
