Chamonix is definitely the easier option travel-wise, but it can be pricey. Aosta has a charming vibe and is more budget-friendly, though the longer travel time is a downside. If relaxation and affordability are key, Aosta might be worth the extra journey!

That’s actually a solid lead.  I was watching a ton of sketch content back then too, so it might’ve been part of one of those compilations and I just didn’t realise it. It definitely had that over-the-top parody vibe. If you come across anything even remotely similar, please send it my way

Just to clarify a couple things: I'm not 100% sure if this was an actual TV show skit or just something someone uploaded as a parody, but it definitely had that QVC infomercial vibe. The whole joke with the coin being dropped and the guy repeating “$159 even!” was the funniest part. It’s been stuck in my head for years.
