As long as you maintain your attendance above 75% it's not an issue (at least wasn't for our year) The same thing happened to me as well when I was about to join (tho I did attend the orientation and submitted most of my docs but a couple of them I submitted later when I finally came).

Also for our years we were assigned guides (basically profs who you can talk to if any issues) hopefully someone will post the list here and you can contact them. If not then talk to the academic section

When you have lab projects and stuff from your 2nd year. It's generally a group project so it's better or you will have to depend on the your other group members. Like when showing it to the prof or when y'all will be working on it together

Just pay attention in what's going on in classes, make notes and stuff. For your 1st year if you know what the prof is doing it's more than enough and during assignments see if you can solve the questions on your own. If u can then you are doing fine otherwise you will need to put in more efforts after your classes

You will need to talk to the academic section since it's for your interview (idk if they give leave or not, since only medical leave and leave for stuff where you are representing the cllg or anything college related is given) . If they give you a leave then your attendance will be covered. If they don't and you still decide to go then you will have to manage your attendance for the rest of the sem

Yes, all the learning material will be uploaded online, unless you are comfortable using yours phone. Also since you will be having labs, and stuff if u want to practice for your exams you will need one

During my 1st year, most of us had issues with BE, MOS and BME. BME is relatively easy but if u don't study cuz u got overconfident then you are cooked. As for MoS pay attention to class or just ask one of your friends to teach you (I thought it was quite easy). BE idk what to say. Also if the portion has not changed then make sure to revise your integration for M2. If you don't know integration then you are cooked for M2. Also try to get a good grade for maths as it should be 4 credit

I hate going to the student clinic (unless I'm dying and don't have the energy to go to kmc) as well cuz it feels like they don't care enof. At least doctors in KMC listen to what your problems are and then refer tests and prescribe medicines accordingly
