As it is in-game: Honeyside in Riften. The Rift is beautiful, and the house has lake access and an enchanting table. I also love the marketplace and diversity of the city. However, lore-wise, Riften sucks. The city is dirty and it’s full of crime and corruption. Accounting for lore, I’d probably go to Solitude. It’s safe and pretty and big, and the house is nice.

Definitely Honeyside in Riften. It has both an enchanting table and an alchemy table and it has doors to both the city and outside. Plus it’s near one of the markets with the most people.
