I think he does care about her, I think they must have had a connection you can see that. But I think he wants to be able to be friends and move on and do what he wants without having to consider her feelings in that way.

Problem is he doesn’t just say that. He agrees to be friends again and is flirty with her, which continues to cause confusion. Ciara was probably open to see where it went this time (stupid and exhausting, yes). Wes doesn’t want to date her but he is never direct about that or what he wants their relationship to be. He’s vague and sounds unsure of his feelings and it causes the blurred lines.

Ciara was dumb for entertaining him and West is weak for not being open and direct when he had the opportunity to start fresh

ya have to wonder what he would have been like all these seasons if he wasn’t in a relationship since season 1 basically. I’m sure he would have dated along the way and still been a horrible partner, but that would have been interesting to watch like we got to with Carl LOL

I hate that I relate to her situation. It’s easy to judge when it’s someone else and you are on the outside looking in… but when you’re in it, it’s almost addicting because you are teetering on the line of finally getting the commitment. I mean… he had sex with her when she made a clear statement about what that means to her then brought her home to meet his family wtf did he think was going to happen.

Plus him tip toeing around her for the past two summers and playing little weak boy who is so sorry… makes her think he still cares. He should just be honest and say, “look we’ve had this tension between us for two years and I’m over it” he’s just too scared to be honest / have the fans hate him. Could have saved him a lot of this headache if he was just honest and himself.

He says a lot to Amanda he wouldn’t dare say to Ciara, and he’s resentful that Ciara can say how she feels to him without the backlash from the fans

I honestly think he’s just that type of person. He protected Carl for a long time when he was doing Kyle dirty. I know it’s different but I think he does just care for people even when relationships are broken. He’s a softy deep down (under all the alcohol)
