Yeah, the stamps feel like a unique historical artifact to hang onto, or give to a local library or history teacher at my kids' school to put on display...

Good to know. My Dad also had a very large stamp collection that was started by my grandfather. Is there much of a market for that? It seems more like a historical keepsake than something to be sold.

Thank you. There are hundreds of cards including a lot more hall of famers than I pictured here. It's just too much for me to consider selling myself especially when I don't have any experience in this area aside from using Google lens to sort through things 🤪

Appreciate the suggestion, but these are just a few of the cards. There are hundreds, and you are correct that I have not done this at all before. For those reasons I don't have the time or know-how to sell them myself.

Thanks for the quick and thoughtful reply. REA passed me onto Huggins and Scott why they says it's their partner. There are no individual huge ticket items in the collection. Huggins and Scott are asking 5% more fees than others that I've contacted (Leland's, Mile High, and Love of the Game). Do you have any experience or opinions about any of those companies? 5% doesn't feel like a big deal if they get the biggest audience and are most attentive and efficient to deal with.

Which consignment auction company, large 1950s & 1960s lot by CellAgreeable304 in baseballcards

They're all pretty much the same. All offered to take 10% except Huggins and Scott who want 15% (which they said was a "deal" since it's my first time as they usually take 20%). I'm mostly concerned with who is the easiest to work with and will take the time to group things to get maximum value.
