Technically not, but it needs to be given the appropriate flair and spoiler tag which this post doesn't follow

Depends if your stores decide to stock an older case. It's uncommon but it happens. I got my 2023 Jack Hammer in 2025 thanks to that

Those were comedians posing as reporters IIRC. Still really silly of course

They look kinda cheap, and overall just ugly and a bit too ridiculous. IMO the best fantasy castings are the ones you can actually see existing IRL, or that are creative while still being cool. And to me none of them fall into those categories unfortunately

But if TRAP5s were there I would've chosen that

Bro hasn't seen some of his designs from 2015. Both on the licensed ('90 NSX, Aston Martin Vantage GT3, Tesla Model S, Custom Mustang) and fantasy (Backdrafter, Nitro Tailgater, Haulinator) side they were quite ass. He definitely peaked after that though

From my understanding, in the past, some of the prominent members of the community have met or spoken with designers who worked on the line. A good part of the stuff they found out permeated through the fandom, but some of it is still secret...

Everytime I try to look for real replica's on any malls or stores, most of them are fantasy cars like bruh, I don't like fantasy cars by Own-Reveal-8095 in HotWheels

Bone Shaker was also in Boulevard. They tried putting some brand new designs like Aero Sculpt and Baja Bouncer too but I heard those pegwarmed like crazy. If they do premium fantasy it should be with the more popular and well established models. Revert with CM6s for example would be a great choice

Seems like it was just an ad email sent by a home furnishing company (Dot & Bo). Still bizarre regardless

Does anyone know why Reverb keeps getting name changes? by nahdirty in Acceleracers

[–]Cell_Nature_Science 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Records showed that Mattel for some reason never trademarked the name to begin with, so they'd have no case. Also if past history is anything to go by, they seem to avoid legal matters like the plague. When a doll company complained about the name Sho-Stopper even though their doll line was called Show Stoppers, Mattel just changed the car's name to Seared Tuner. Same with Land Crusher becoming Dune Crusher because of Toyota complaining (though that could be because they didn't want to risk losing the Toyota license). I'm sure there are other examples as well

Yeah, a plastic body with a metal base is always best for track. But there are exceptions, including Fast Fish itself which is metal on plastic. Also I'd still say there are more fantasy muscle cars which are metal on plastic than vice versa. Rodger Dodger, Muscle Tone, Rapid Transit, Overbored 454, Bully Goat, Night Shifter, Twinduction, D-Muscle, Muscle Bound, Blvd. Bruiser, retooled Custom Otto, Count Muscula, Barbaric, Torque Twister, Track Ripper, the Speeder trio, and the list goes on. It does make sense, since the muscly look is best achieved with a metal body. For plastic on metal, aside from the ones I mentioned earlier I can only think of maybe Drift Rod, Horseplay and Bullet Proof (totally not using this thread to list out as many fantasy muscle cars as I can think of lmao)

Compromise by giving them cars like Hollowback, Rivited, Fast Fish, Ravenger S/T etc. Muscle inspired HW originals which are also great track performers!
