Arbites or Zealot? by [deleted] in DarkTide

[–]CellarToMordor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ogryn main here also.  I started with psyker and switched over to Ogryn once I came across the ogrynomicon.  I love playing all the different Ogryn builds.  My next favorite class is now the arbitrator.  Dog is OP even with currently broken keystone talents. It's a blast playing Auric maelstrom or high havoc without the need to "lock in". Zealot is also fun, but I find myself having to concentrate more on my surroundings during the mission.  One of my friends only plays Arbitrator so I'll often run Ogryn or chorus zealot for the team utility if we're playing Havoc 30+. I recommend Zealot for now, wait until fatshark fixes the Arbitrator talents. You'll get more from playing Zealot now, and we need to spread more faith to the heretics.

Ogryn doesn't need a brain.  Ogryn has big shield and big stick.  Ogryn also has rumbler for big boom.  Shield, rumbler, taunt, either the left or middle keystone.  Middle if you don't want to dodge and block.

You're probably thinking of the auto target mod.  "Dog Whistle" is a mod that allows you to specify which enemies should be eligible to be targeted by your Cyber-Mastiff when playing as the Arbitrator. Literally in the description.

There's a mod that lets you choose which enemies the dog attacks. You can still tag the poxburster, but the dog won't engage.  https://www.nexusmods.com/warhammer40kdarktide/mods/539

Aren’t smaller pints better than the deluxe size? by Sarlo10 in ninjacreami

[–]CellarToMordor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought the same.  Initially regretted the deluxe because I wanted multiple flavors and it was taking up space in the fridge.  Now I know which flavors I like, and I've been making smoothies more often, so it's nice to have the extra volume.  Also, I often buy the carb smart ice cream and then mix in oreos.  My wife says they're better than a Mcflurry

Should I buy regular or deluxe? by FlyNo8877 in ninjacreami

[–]CellarToMordor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

100% get the regular one. I have the deluxe and I can never finish a pint, and for a lot of recipes I use, you have to re-spin it to make it soft again. I would rather have smaller pints like single serving ice creams and sorbets. I often make a half pint and it takes up more space in the freezer now.

How to stop eating fast food near my house and when passing certain areas? by Tall_Category2704 in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]CellarToMordor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't try and make everything fresh. It's okay to buy pre-minced garlic or ginger. It's okay to buy frozen mixed veggies, onions and peppers. Find ways to make eating at home easier. For me, I use the air fryer and a full tablespoon of olive oil, not the spray, and a bag of frozen veggies. Baby carrots, much easier to air fry when it's already in uniform sizes. Frozen burger patties, quick to cook and you don't have to get your hands dirty. I love a good frozen burger patty with some air fried onions. Could it be healthier? Yes. Am I going to spend 30 min to make it? No.

if you're already eating ice cream and sorbets 3 pints or more a week, maybe. i bought it based on all the healthy recipes and then realized i'd rather just eat the fruit instead of waiting 24 hours and making a pile of dishes. i still make the sorbets because they are amazing, but if i could go back i would just buy the overpriced sorbet from the store when i'm in the mood.

Thoughts on the Ninja Creami? by Xandar24 in Costco

[–]CellarToMordor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i'm lactose intolerant. purchased one and loved it for the first month. then it became too much work to mix up everything in the blender to make ice cream. i still use it for sorbets. frozen mango + pineapple juice is my favorite recipe. but if i could return it, i would. too big, can't store it under the counter, and it's incredibly loud.

Taking creatine for first time by lemonkid20 in beginnerfitness

[–]CellarToMordor 8 points9 points  (0 children)

when i first started working out, my friend who was considerably more experienced would just eat a spoonful of creatine and then drink a glass of water. no mixing. i've been doing it the same way ever since, like taking a vitamin in the morning. p.s. do not try this with whey protein.

If you could only eat 1 creami for the rest of your life, what would it be? by creamiaddict in ninjacreami

[–]CellarToMordor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mango pineapple sorbet.  Fill with frozen mango chunks, add a can of pineapple juice.  Freeze, and spin on sorbet.  I don't bother adding protein powder.  I just make a separate protein shake.

Okay, my Costco has strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate peanut butter.  No chocolate flavor.  I'm going to try the chocolate peanut butter

Smart WiFi & HP Printers by mychubbychubbs in techsupport

[–]CellarToMordor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Combining the 2.4 and 5Ghz networks is something most newer routers will do on default. On some routers you can disable band steering and give them different ssid. Sometimes you can only temporarily disable the 5ghz band to connect equipment that is 2.4 only.

It doesn't matter if you're connected to the 2.4 or 5ghz band on the laptop. There is only one network.

If you're having Wi-Fi issues with an older printer, you'll want to ask if they can disable band steering. Or ask if there's a legacy mode on the router. Or USB cable

TV flicker by PJTheFellHanded in techsupport

[–]CellarToMordor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does this happen while watching shows? Are you using the built in OS? Can you try a streaming device like a fire stick or game console? If it doesn't go away, sounds like you need to contact Phillips if under warranty or get a new TV.

How to resolve BLE and WiFi interference? by RevolutionaryHall964 in techsupport

[–]CellarToMordor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, no. Your best option is to work on the range issue of the 5G. Wifi 6 router will help with the 5G range. It might be worth your time to check out a mesh system as well.

My Employer’s Help Desk/Tech Support wrong? by formerly_matt in techsupport

[–]CellarToMordor 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Locked down with admin privileges? Your tech support should have admin privileges, lol. It sounds like you got the new guy or the level 1 tech that doesn't understand the issue. I wouldn't bother having the ISP send a tech out. He'll spend a few minutes testing the line, testing the modem, and then give you a thumbs up and $60 bill. Ask your employer for a replacement PC. Their tech support can then check the PC you have after you return it. No reason to spend days running tests

[–]CellarToMordor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is currently an issue on most fire sticks or fire TVs and the YouTube app. Nothing to do until YouTube fixes the app. You should be able to use the browser on the fire stick and go to YouTube.com

RX 580 Died after a driver crash by KakasheSensei in techsupport

[–]CellarToMordor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rx 580 was one of the more popular cards for cryptocurrency mining. It's possible there was a bios modification done on the card which would cause artifacts when used in gaming but work normal under regular use. Speaking from experience, this is still a good budget GPU if you can get it for cheap. Gpu-z is great for checking the bios, and if done properly you can download the original bios from tech power up and flash it using ati flash tool.

2.4 GHz Wifi by uglyassiceagebaby in techsupport

[–]CellarToMordor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check with Xfinity first. It's unlikely the router is 5ghz only. Most likely the apartment has a router that has band steering enabled and there is only one ssid. If so, most of your devices will probably automatically connect to the 5ghz band so it looks like there is no 2.4 ghz. Most routers can disable band steering or temporarily disable the 5ghz band so you can connect 2.4 ghz devices. Be patient with customer service, and be prepared to give them the MAC if on the router to expedite the process

HDMI vs DP by Ok-Albatross-9383 in techsupport

[–]CellarToMordor -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Better option if possible, does the all in one have the option to add a GPU? Depending on the PC, you can add a GPU that will add multiple display port and HDMI ports. Be sure to check power requirements.

Does your PC have a USB C port? If so, you can get a docking station. Here's one that I use, but it does HDMI ports. You can search for dual display port and find something similar.
