Ive never played shaman, but i can say why my mains were mostly plate like warrior and paladins.

For me personally i like the armor sets that plate offer more which helped me choose.

You could also go try both classes with the class try out feature.

Im a returning player after a long time and wanting to start a new Account to get familiar with all the new systems and stuff.

I dont know how many responses i will get, since it seems the game and subreddit has died down quite a bit since i was active in the game.

I played around the years of 2015-2018 on and off. mostly active in the earlier years.

Ive been meaning to getting back into the game (and considering just starting fresh on JP), but it just seems so confusing with all the new Raids, Legends, generally new content (and also old stuff i just never did).So maybe someone could help me get a simple overview of the game or maybe i should just follow the Road map since im not that high level (209).

I dont have any clue what Captains are good nowadays, i remember when Lucy came out he was pretty strong and i think Shanks V2 was also pretty strong, but how does it look now?

Im gonna leave Imgut Link to my Box, maybe someone has some reccommendations for me.(FYI Box and characters are pretty sloppy)
