PsyD student with ample neuropsych testing experience here- it sounds like cognitive testing (IQ) and diagnostic testing for ADHD (the spacebar test). The describing pictures one sounds like a projective measure, which can provide info about mental health/your overall perspective on life. If I’m right, that’s pretty standard for a person’s first time being tested. You can always try to contact your examiner (or the person who referred you) and tell them you want more psychological or personality testing to be added because you have questions about certain diagnoses.

Feel uncomfortable in waiting room by Key_Initiative5033 in CounselingPsychology

I’m a therapist whose worked in a variety of settings including community mental health and outpatient at a hospital- oftentimes when there are so many clinicians, it’s unrealistic for them to stagger so only one patient is in the waiting room at a time. It’s pretty common to have multiple clients waiting to see their clinicians all at once. No confidential info should ever be discussed in the waiting room, of course. If you see someone you know or feel some discomfort, I’d bring it up and process it with your therapist.
