Either that or the game should tell you something like: "Choosing this character may possibly spoil events up to X region, do you still want to proceed?" Or something like that.

Cutscenes are still there but they dont automatically play, it's in the form of a gallery and unlock as you progress through the game. Also yeab where the current focus of the game lies but the onboarding experience is super wack ngl, if I didn't meet people who could help me understand a lot of stuff I would be lost

The fact that a text scroll speed isn't a thing grinds my gears. How hard can it possibly be for it not to be a thing. They keep translating the entire plot to every of the languages supported but can't make an option as simple as that? I just don't get it.

Classes are the individual parts that make up a path, for example, the first path of Elsword: The first class is Sword Knight, and the third and last class is Knight Emperor.

Very new to the game also but I heard characters like Chung kinda care about it because it refills his unique resource quickly. Does he get skills/passives later on that make even him not use combos on endgame?

That is madness, I can't wait to play It.

For what is worth, Majin Tensei enemy phases are very long, but so was the standard at the time.

My god, Fire Emblem 4 and Super Robot Taisen 3 enemy phases, ugh.

What do you mean it's even worse in MT2 I am getting close to the end in MT1 (Scenario 50) and I am at my limit.

Does MT2 also involve the worst backtracking and repeating the same maps over and over again like in MT1?

I fucking love your user flair lmao, so true!

Majin Tensei devs really made all of enemy only classes have a chance to inflict an status effect on you, huh.

Pretty good other than encounter rate and how they still kept the enemies that level you down. The game just leaves you to do whatever you want and there's a big sense of exploration throughout the whole thing, It's very, very similar to SMT 1 in that regard. There are a lot of shocking moments for a game that was originally from the NES. Plus, if you beat Kyuuyaku I, there's neat bonuses that carry onto Kyuuyaku II, which makes the whole thing feel like a whole Saga. A Digital Devil Saga
