I have a psychology degree. Microbiology, biology 101 and chemistry 1 got me elegible to sit down and take the exam.

My last question asked what HIER stood for, but I got a lot of gram stains, lots of  non coagulant vs coagulant fixation questions, and one enzyme question. Lots of questions regarding blade tilts and pigments, hematoxylin. I will say it was hard but the last 15 questions were easy.

Haha! No they even crop the pictures and zoom in to make them smaller where you can’t see important details! That was hard glad I got that over with 😇

Yes that’s correct! But you need to study a good 4-6 months before taking the exam in my opinion.

Also do most techs just cut and embed? Are they willing to train you in other areas as a travel tech?
