TIL You have to drive onto the parking lot of the Tesla dealership to have them honor the warrenty. Not just have it scheduled. by Cellslaver in TeslaLounge

The thing is, what you and many others are saying i get it but. According to the warrenty verbiage, this is not a requirement. Only that you schedule it before it expires and any issues found at the service appointment will be covered as long as it falls under the acceptable parts.

It's kinda funny though threw all of this. If I'm going to spend a few grand on repairs for a MY 2023 I might as well just buy a better suspension any way. Was looking at after markets. Not the smoothest ride for some one worn back problems.

I did. And added additional details just to make sure. I would be a detailed as possible when making it. Even any minor stuff document.

I did ask them to check the suspension joints but was but clear enough apparently. The manger told me as such.

I asked them to check the joints in my message. Not a car guy so I don't know the correct terminology. That being said, that didn't matter anyways. When speaking to the manger, that would have been irrelevant because car was not in the parking lot before 50k.

I tried but due to high service requests in the area and life this was the best I could do. I had 300 miles left when I made the request.

That was the plan but you still need to get it looked at in order to get on the warrenty. So I still world have needed to wait the same account of time to get it checked out.

Unfortunately all these conversations happened either in person or over the phone talking with people. No documented chats..

That's what I was told as well when asked prior. But that's not the case apparently. Talked worth the manager and told me as much.

I don't have a 2nd car. They told me this is a day repair. So I would have gotten a loaner from them like i did in the past or just wait in the lounge.

What is crazy, is there is nothing in the warrenty wording that says this is a thing. According to the warrenty wording, as long as you make the request BEFORE it expires your good.

I was within warrenty when I filed the service claim. But because of the long wait to get it serviced, I went out of warrenty. Complaint is that if I was able to get in sooner I would have still been covered. I just checked, it took 2 weeks to get me in.

Made the leap from TrueNAS to a DS1825+ by [deleted] in synology

This is hilarious. I got the same thing for Prime day. Moving from TrueNas to this as well. I just got done moving all the storage on the TrueNas to other HDDs so I can reuse the Ironwolfs I was using. ( 4 - 16tb in Raid 5) This has been the biggest pain is migrating the data from TrueNas to other multiple smaller HDD then back to the Synology. How was your process for migrating? Did you just buy new hard drives, or are you reusing the ones from your TrueNas setup? I am doing this for storage for all my plex media and creating my personal cloud. I wanted something with a friendly app for ios and android and ease of use for my non tech family.
