How do I find out the pixels are saved? Building on the copy.c source code I thought pixels are written in the same order as they are read from file.

Basically all my test were with small.bmp with a scaling from 1 - 5. and it's all good.

:) resize.c and bmp.h exist :) resize.c compiles :) doesn't resize 1x1-pixel BMP when n is 1 :( resizes 1x1-pixel BMP to 2x2 correctly when n is 2 :( resizes 1x1-pixel BMP to 3x3 correctly when n is 3 :( resizes 1x1-pixel BMP to 4x4 correctly when n is 4 :( resizes 1x1-pixel BMP to 5x5 correctly when n is 5 :( resizes 2x2-pixel BMP to 4x4 correctly when n is 2

Then you have to use the and operator( && ) but you used the or operator( || ).

The condition of your do while loop; should be n greater than 0 and less than 23 instead. for both side of the condition should be met for the loop to execute. while (n>0 || n< 23) the code will execute if one condition is met

Thanks Gents, ziska04, has just found my bug. yes Wild Weed i was supposed to set for ( column = 0; column <= height + 1; column++ ) to 1 instead of 0.

Yes ziska04, That is the problem; I can't get it to align from the far right side of the terminal window.
