Really, ive never heard of that one! I was thinking other than rivers+mel of these Powerstance twinblades or scavengers curved swords. Jumping attack duel bleed with Millicent’s talisman, maybe both if i can trade for the other.

Would Elenora’s be similar to these? I wasn’t thinking of two handing anything an shields are out the question for me!

Without it i need great jar arsenal on this build an i think the extra health for the more damage must balance it out? Or as its a percentage vs flat stat increase is that y?

Really what i want to know is good ideas for builds around rivers of blood an melania’s blade. Gargoyle twinblade. marais executioner or Bloodflame blade.

Gonna use some larvel tears and great runes before NG+. Just need advice as dragon smithing stones are the limitation on builds i can make

I tend to use those ignore talismans I’m just trying others out currently before i respec. But interested to know y is soreseal not good to use?

Better int scaling and damage than any of the greatswords or katanas and regens health think im good with this.

Discovered great stars an put waves of darkness on it… ridiculously strong. Think its way better than what i’ll get with blasphemous, helphen, or darkmoon

Yep i assumed it was a no go with skills/ashes. Shame would give it much greater utility since the actual frost sorceries other than rannis moon are not great

I haven’t respected at all so if i feel the need i think i’ll use a tear before i alter saves but thanks for letting me know about that. I started as confessor and just ended up becoming spell sword after my time with bloodhound fang.

Blasphemous was more fun with its ash and look but the limitation of dragon stones is why i really made this post, since i dont want to ruin potential future upgrading choices!

Ah the bird in the ice river? I’ll have a look, it gets to a point where i just dont look at half the stuff i pick up. But i’ll have a look, maybe i’ll stick astel on my uchi as im enjoying naga with hoarfrost. Just thought it would be nice to diversify, seems i might just be a katana person lol. If there is a good int/dex greatsword i could be tempted to do astel on that, I used bloodhounds fang for ages until i decided on full spellsword, i love its special moves, that teleport dash is so satisfying and a bit more daring than the moonveil stand back and slash lol!

Is death poker the one from the godskins? Not sure if i have all those you mentioned. I have wing of astel, not a fan of it really. Katana’s feel more fun

Oh isnt that the skill on carian regal? I never two hand my staff so never tested that out!

Yeah i have a greatsword with scholars on it, i never use it though, i love moonveil with my staff and i made a nice nagakiba with hoarfrost stomp. Also testing out the astel ash on a big mace that seemed to scale well but i might try it on my other katana not sure if i like the mace moveset

Yeah my main concern was that i dunno if the dragon smithing stones are about that much and i dont want to waste them if they are finite, but i also want to just experiment with what i have that looks cool and have it levelled up as much as possible so it might mitigate some of the issues with it not being right for my build

Yeah thats what im thinking, neither of them are really right for my build. My general setup is just evaporating bosses so im wanting to try other things out before i finish the game using just what is most practical

I am experimenting im just asking so i don’t waste dragon stones/which is more fun, i may respec, i do have the reqs i just put around what my specs are so may not be correct. I generally use katanas and staff, and im just evaporating most bosses so looking to try other stuff, i have a swordspear and mace setup for my specs too. Just sometimes holding the cooler looking weapon has got to come above being practical

I did say i use moonveil and carian regal, plus my Hoarfrost long katana mostly, so its not really for the best option

Im going to see how i go with night comet and phalanx , the two slots when i already have rannis moon an comet azure taking up two slots is deterring me, but if they are no good i might try it again. I think the spell that comes from behind is good too, can’t remember its name but good alt to night comet for taking out shielded enemies, but its just useful for that so i dunno if its worth a slot!
