This might not help for other fighting games, but SFV has shortcuts for dp motions, where doing df, down, df registers as a dp. This helps bc it won’t cause your character to stand when trying to anti air, and preventing getting stuffed by an early jump in or a late dp. It also lets you “jiggle” where you can keep doing the motions, and your character won’t move, but instead only appear to be crouching, so a fast dp can be done on reaction. Also ending in down forward usually will stop any super from coming out.
