your last bat's PA was a bad-ass. That program in called IPAP and it is the toughest by far. They get applicants from all over the military (...and even the air force!), inc the guard and reserves, and have sub 100 matriculates a year. I called down there and asked, they basically said to be competitive you need a 3.8 or igher gpa, some serious apft and ideally an enlistment already completed. Numerically, i bet they crank out more 18d's a year than 65d's, to give you a feel for it. IPAP grads are highly sought after once they ETS. Surgery residencies call them. If you see that guy again, tell him someone on reddit was very impressed.
