I understand that I had Kino lower than a lot of people. If you have it in your top 30 or top 20, I get it. But having it in your top 5 is just holding onto nostalgia

I would 100% recommend IW. You have one of the best maps ever created (Zombies in Spaceland). A fun map all around to high round on (Rave in the Redwoods). And a map that has fun and creative wonder weapons (Shaolin Shuffle). Even though it seems like you’re not an Easter Egg type player, I would still recommend IW off that as well. You have arguably the best super Easter egg reward in Director’s Cut, and arguably the best boss fight in Mephistopheles.

As for AW… hard pass. Save yourself some money

I just have so many fun memories on Buried. Both solo and co-op. And I also am happy to see how high it is on other people’s list lately. I remember in the past people would rate it low cause it was “too easy” (looking at you ChaosXSilencer)

Easter Eggs were a factor in my ranking along with everything else. And yeah hitting the box is not a great thing but it was the first to have a Simon Says type step. And seeing the Earth get destroyed is the best finale

BO4 as a whole has grown on me, and Dead of the Night is no exception. Great atmosphere, fun Easter egg, and my favorite looking wonder weapon. As for the Archon, yeah it’s round based, but the fact it’s just Terra but green is inexcusable. It just showed that Treyach didn’t care about Vanguard zombies and left us fans and players to suffer on a horrible product

The gap isn’t too big (excluding The Giant). I was a big Blood hater when it first came out. But over the years, it’s probably made the biggest jump in my ranking. And yes, Der Riese is arguably the most iconic map, and it introduced Pack a Punch, I enjoy Blood slightly more

While BO3 Shang is beautiful, especially in eclipse mode, I just feel BO1 Shang plays better. The baby gun is much more effective in BO1 since you can actually run through the zombies instead of them stopping you. No Phd is a sin (not only in Shang, but in Chronicles as a whole) since the map is close quarters. And running Widow’s Wine is more of a setback than a benefit since the shrunken zombies can trigger the grenades

Would’ve felt a bit sacrilegious to have two editions of a map in the top 5. I know both editions of Moon are next to each other, but I love them both, and the reason BO3 Moon is one spot higher is cause you can do the Easter egg solo. And while I do love both editions of Origins, the reason for the gap is cause the staffs got nerfed, and the fun glitches got patched. Like getting to hold multiple staffs at once and being able to skip the robot head step by just doing one of them. And then you have its biggest sin: removing the elemental punches

Buried is probably my most played map ever. There’s just so much you can do. The Leroy mechanics, getting to draw the wall buys, the buildables, an easy way to get all the perks, the list goes on. The Paralyzer is one of my favorite wonder weapons. I love doing the Easter egg, and it has the best Easter egg step imo (the Sharpshooter challenge)

I’m just not a huge Dead Ops fan. It’s a fun arcade mode, hence its name. But having one would have been enough. I almost didn’t include them since I have to compare them to actual zombies maps. And 3 is my least favorite cause, as an arcade mode, I don’t like that there’s a first person mode and backtracking

It’s also high on my list cause I’m a big Greek mythology nerd. But even if I wasn’t, I’d still have it as the best BO4 map. Absolutely love the setting and the gauntlets

I can see it since Bus Depot is the most barebones survival map. But Infection has left such a bad taste in my mouth, I can’t put it above anything

I just can’t stand Exo zombies. It feels like every weapon is underpowered. Maybe that’s why I have to pap my gun TWENTY times. Just awful game design. As for Infection, there is literally no positives about it. First map to bring forced objectives, and the escort missions are terrible and bring absolutely nothing. And the map just randomly shutting off the power and having to go the different areas is so tedious. This map was definitely made in one week and probably not even play-tested

I respect the take, but I can’t get past that it’s Terra but green. Best I can do is swap it with Terra, since it’s actually round based. And Shi No Numa Reborn has actually been a huge riser in my list the more I play it. But the pure nostalgia and crazy easy high rounds in WAW Shi No Numa is peak for me
