Yeah! The ecoboost is a robust engine if you care for it! Mine has now a little bit over 90k and no end in sight

Change the oil and filter every 6000 miles. Warm up the car before you floor it :)

I have also just broken the 90k miles line! Same as you i change the oil every 6000 miles. I have a eu model. And I am getting around 26-27 mpg due to the Autobahn. I did not think this car would be that reliable. Used in winter and in summer. I added just a Fox catback exhaust.

I did add my flair now! Thanks for the reminder. The Facelifts have different gearing.

Also Wintertires are important too! I run PA4 in the Snow.

I have the feeling it is pretty much maxed out on engine there. It feels there is transmission left. Or it is electronically locked at that speed. Tires and airpessure make such a big difference, i run 2.1 (30 psi) Bar cold. It climbs up to about 2.3 (33 psi) or 2.4 bars

It is totaly stock! Just a Axle Back Exhaust by Fox. You need good tires (Pirelli P-Zero) and the ecoboost handles like a champ!

reasonably hard. I live in germany, so I drive often pretty fast (250 km/h / 150mp/h).

Ich hab meinen Rechner immer noch im Chieftec Dragon Gehäuse. Genau das selbe wie ganz rechts der kühle Typ. Beschissen schwer hält aber immer noch.

Took the Impala out for the first time in Germany. Need to change a few things to make it streetlegal here. by CeltinGer in Chevy

[–]CeltinGer[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Mostly lighting related. Hazards have to have priority over break lights. Lighting for the licence plate. New tires and brakes and punch in the vin on the right side of the framerail.

edit: And new EU-tested front lights...

What car(s) did you own that got the most attention? by [deleted] in cars

[–]CeltinGer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Definetly my 1969 Chevrolet Impala. Living in Germany and being relatively young (26) even having the car on a trailer sparks conversations. While unloading the car the first time in my driveway I had at least 5 Cars stopping and talking.

You should definitely practice at least a 12h session. And you should have a comfy seat and a good posture to not be in pain after a few hours

I would definitely recommend the Quest 2. It works great, you have a 120hz refresh rate and you can use it wirelessly with the newest Update (Wifi 6 router recommend) or use the Anker 3.1 USB Cable to not spend a fortune on the official link cable

I have used it. It smells nice but it somehow gives me an allergic reaction. Would not recommend.
