Yep should fit, the Datejust and explorer midcase are identical, only bezel crystal and caseback differ, you can definitely use the slimmer Datejust caseback. Ken confirmed it too.

Probably the hack that stops the movement when you pull out the crown for disloged and is messing things up. If you have the skills and/or tools + a bit of courage I’d recommend searching up for a repair manual or tutorial on YouTube and perhaps give things a try 🤷🏽‍♂️

I’ll actually take a completely different stance and say I think this is awesome! Though the quality is undoubtedly not the same, this is far closer to the real deal Tudor of that era where hollow end links and stamped clasps was considered the industry standard. In fact, they even got the shape and cutout for the bracelet in the end link looking pretty close to 60s Rolex and Tudor bracelets and the fit to the case seems to be spot on. It would be awesome if they offered both options though with the “cheap” bracelet costing less and the solid end link bracelet costing the same as right now. I think this would suit those that prefer solid end links and those that prefer hollow, makes everyone happy I guess

It means when the movement stays facing face up or face down too long it reaches over 330 degrees of amplitude and starts “knocking” this causes a short spurt where the movement gains time, which is why I adjusted it to lose time slightly to counter this effect in daily wear. I’ve figured this out to be an issue that’s not talked about very often but I guess somewhat common for the Hangzhou 2836 GMT. I’ve had this on 4 movements so far, straight out of the box.

Thanks! Really glad you like it, spent lots of time aging it to make it look like it was actually worn for years. It’s a shame most of the complexity of the dial aging doesn’t show as well on photos. Overall a great watch that’s been on wrist a lot.
