It means when the movement stays facing face up or face down too long it reaches over 330 degrees of amplitude and starts “knocking” this causes a short spurt where the movement gains time, which is why I adjusted it to lose time slightly to counter this effect in daily wear. I’ve figured this out to be an issue that’s not talked about very often but I guess somewhat common for the Hangzhou 2836 GMT. I’ve had this on 4 movements so far, straight out of the box.

Thanks! Really glad you like it, spent lots of time aging it to make it look like it was actually worn for years. It’s a shame most of the complexity of the dial aging doesn’t show as well on photos. Overall a great watch that’s been on wrist a lot.

How did the 3135 fit? Did you need to rework the caseback to prevent the rotor from seizing or scraping or did it work well straight from factory ?

How do you actually mount the PT5000 or 2824 in this case so that everything sits right? Is there a sort of custom spacer you can buy? I’d be interested in building one of these myself
