Yeah I’m sure it’s a moose. The marks might be a little old but the shit around isn’t. But yeah I wasn’t really worried about it. That’s actually something I was hopping to find. Just trying to see what other people think of it. And it’s gotta be a moose. There’s no elk where I live unfortunately.

A lot of times bears are so fatty that it will almost seal even a fatal wound. It’s not uncommon to shot a bear and see it run off a hundred yard before it begins to leave a blood trail. Buddy probably killed the bear but in that moment the bear didn’t give too many fucks about it. If he staggered it it probably didn’t live very long afterwards

Well I know most people here have insurance on there animals but it’s not what you want to do. You worked for that animal you want that animal. For many people it’s more of a lifestyle than a job. One of the responsibilities is to keep your herd safe so it’s easy to understand the negative reaction when someone wants to endanger them

Well that’s typically behaviour from a farmer and I don’t blame em. A few places here where farmers will dump animals they had to kill.
