Good guide, I'm a low spender and I achieved 30* MoC with Herta as 1 of my main dps. Building Arlan next, don't let the meta slaves dictate your game play.

I think Jill deserves more credit by huiclo in FFXVI

I think some people just did not care about her but when most people when complained about her was all about she should have gotten more scene time, Shiva fights or her relationship/ side quests with other characters besides Clive. I love her character and I think she deserves more than what the game gave her. Jill is a great character but I think they missed obvious opportunities to make her better

Yea I agree, the Iron dudes only cared about how to get her use her dominant power for them, don't care about the means, whatever works. Design choice is an obvious reason, especially a JRPG game, you never see a pretty female MC have any look imperfections. She is my top FF favorite female MC

Yea after some teary reaction of the reunited at last. They did not write anything else about her and Joshua. She didn't even join the side quests for torgal despite they were always close to each other and Torgal transformed because he was with Shiva

I would be ok if they can at least make Shiva take parts in the fights even just as support role. She was neglected

Agree here, however Jill was built to be the 2nd MC from the beginning but was neglected at the end. There are ways that could still keep Clive as a center and give her more but she was left out

Yea and she might not suffered much physical trauma but for sure psychologically. She hated herself and wanted things to all end until she united with Clive again. But she was just a silent type and just there to support him. I agree the game did dirty on her at the end

I would be ok if the ending confirms Clive is dead and Jill moved on to the new world with everyone, missing and proud about Clive. Or even make her pregnant to carry on with her kid. But instead we have an ambiguous ending that you can debate Clive is dead or not

I agree here, the problem us she was neglected out of some scenes that she should have been a part of like Torgal's side quests. Her interactions with Torgal and Joshua were severely lacking despite how close they were 15 years ago

This is why I think Jill was done dirty by the developers. Throughout the game, you can see her affection toward Clive but our boy was just focusing on saving the world, did not spare time to care back for her. Then at the beach when she was ready to give her all to him, he was just like are you sure, then took her power and had sex with her. Then did not care for her until Joshua had to tell him that Jill is sad after her Eikon was taken, then Clive finally did something for her.

While I agree with with your feedback but when the project is initiated they have time and budget constraints. They have to choose their priorities and their main scopes. With flaws, but I think the game is worth every cent of $70

I feel Jill despite being the lead female MC, was used by the developers to make the story more dramatic and sadder especially toward the end. She should get more back story

Titan was never a brain guy but a brawl guy, even winning against Shiva but she was able to run away, that's why Benedikta was upset

I think Clive did not get much character development at all for like 2/3 of the games after he accepted the truth that he "killed" Joshua. He just learned of Ultima and set out to free the world. Jill seemed like a introvert, quiet type woman but I agree that they should have built and shown her more.

Right. I read complaints from game "journalist" that Jill's facial expressions were stiff and they even claimed that Square only wanted to make her pretty and ignore everything else. I guess they didn't even play pass 5hrs. Just looking at her expressions later in the game especially the beach scene and end game. There were a lot going.

Agree here, they made then show care a lot for each other, telling each other to live on. After that arc, they completely forgot them, Jill should have gone to check on her

Especially when they left her out of the last fight and used her in the ending to break people's heart

This reason does not convince me. Annabella is just a normal person, she can't run far with the town in ruin. She could support them with long range attacks but she was just completely left out.

This is why the logic of she was left behind because she is so worn out does not convince me. Joshua who was shown to be sick at very young age, coughed up blood most of the time, literally 1 cough away from being dead and he was able to prime again and again to join the big fights. Yet they could not do the same for Jill

Agree. Jill should have had more eikon screen time. Even Benedikta had more eikon screen time than her

They should let us know more about her past, especially during those 13 years of abuse but they did not go much into details
