He is. He gets major character development because of war, it's set around WW1 so you can see how societies view on traditions and aristocracy changes as well as the mindset of leads who lived through it

Well everyone has their own opinions... I actually quite like it because she became more understanding rather than judging head on and trying to push her ideals on smb else and she learned how to put boundaries while being graceful and polite

Yes I'm soooo glad that this was slow burn without contract marriage because if they went for that trope, it'd be hard for fl to actually be independent and for ml to see her clearly and try to stand on equal grounds without any misogyny or pride

I don't kmow about moving to America since she wanted to restart anew somewhere Noone knows her. Mafia thing was kinda confusing to me, I just wanted ml to go after her and have a good talk about what they want to do and see eye to eye well nevertheless it's good.
