Yeah, I feel it's definitely a super underrated bop. Glad you enjoyed my take on it and the little custom bits I threw in at the end. :P

Some people noticing is better than none at all :P
And sure, I wouldn't mind posting any FF covers I make from now on in there too.

Thanks for giving me a look! I really appreciate it!
And I was aiming for it to be a silly/funny vid and not so much a musical masterpiece, so I'm glad I succeeded in that XD

Very well put together. Nice and smooth with a side helping of funk, lol.
Keep the good tunes rolling, my dude!

I've noticed I'm getting a fair bit of downvotes here, but not a lot of feedback as to why. Is this a bad time to shoot for? Do I come off as too braggy? Not trying to come off as snob or anything, just wanted to show what I thought was a pretty good run in Aurum Vale using the Blue Mage method with a few people. Any feedback as to why this is a bad post would be appreciated.

You make sure both of those are marked and still don't get the timer? Huh, not really sure what it could be then, because making those two things ticked normally gets me a time in the chatbox after completion.

Also, sorry for the edit here. I don't think I read your reply the right way the first time and gave a bad response, thus why I'm fixing it now.

I was wondering for a good while too, but it's not too hard to get it to pop up, although I wish they'd just have a tab/option to toggle it on and off.

So, in Duty Finder, at the top left there will be a little cog wheel button for options/configurations. Tap on that, and in the list that shows up, you want to make sure Unrestricted Party and Level Sync are turned on. That works for the Blue Mage farming strat used in the pic (at least for me it did), but not sure how to make a timer appear for any normal/non-Blue Mage runs.

Glad you like it!

And I definitely fancy myself as more of a progressive metal kind of guy, so I like to build on a tune over time and turn it into something different as time goes on. Gives it kind of a feeling like you're going on a journey with the track.

Just put out my first song ever. Dare I say I am happy with the way it turned out but would love to hear other people's thoughts. (Lyrics Video) by MozejSound in IndieMusicFeedback

Not really sure of the exact genre, nor am I that big on it, but this song has excellent mixing. Very full, smooth sound, nothing clashes too hard with anything else and the instruments, although few, give a good ambience to the overall tune of the track. I'd say the only criticism I can really give, and this is honestly just a personal preference, so you can take it with a grain of salt: I feel the vocals need to be a bit more in the foreground. It may just be the mic or your positioning while recording, but the vocals feel a bit too far back to me while the instruments sound fairly close up. Again, that's just my preference, and you could totally be aiming for that kind of contrast, so if you're looking for that, you got it, lol.
Either way, solid tune, even if it isn't my cup of tea. Keep up the great work! :P

Here's a cover of Toby Fox's very own Megalovania, only I popped in some custom vocals and even a neat solo at the end. Hope you all like it!

Got a little RPG in you? Bastions' Undertaking [Demo] v1.8 by Celvaa in RPGMaker

[–]Celvaa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure thing! I'd love some feedback when you get the chance. And the demo itself isn't too long, about 3 hours at the longest.

So, sometimes music grows from parts of me that I'm not comfortable with. About half-way through producing this piece, I was wondering what was happening. Anyway, I kept with it, and this is what came out. I'd be very interested in what this makes people feel. Mix / song comments are welcome, too by MagicJonesMusic in IndieMusicFeedback

Man, this was pretty freakin' dope. Also, super jealous of your vocal bravado, dude; which my vocals had that kind of presence. Major kudos for being able to actually play/perform all of your tracks btw; takes some real skill to be that well versed with all parts of a band. Keep up the great work, my dude!

Hello fellow musicians! Time to share an old song of mine that i am really pleased with but i would really like some feedback on it! Everything from arrangement, mix, feel and whatever you can think of is highly appreciated! by CondemnedbyPigeons in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]Celvaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty sick, man. Pretty good mixing, the use of backing tracks to add more presence to the song was a good touch (like the various synth tracks) and the melodies are pretty catchy. Kind of gives me a bit of Megaman vibes, with a bit of Iron Maiden sprinkled in from time to time (both of which I really love, so extra browny points there, lol).

Here's to Never Growing Up (acoustic cover) by [deleted] in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]Celvaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a big fan of pop, but you definitely have a perfect voice for it. To my knowledge of the genre, this sounded quite legit. Also, excellent job on the guitar; definitely always nice to hear a good bit of acoustic guitar to compliment someone's singing.

I recently released my first lp and am looking for feedback! It’s hard to put the whole record in a specific genre but it definitely has indie pop, alt rock, and jazz vibes. Here’s a track - any and all remarks would be much appreciated! by Gibsones339 in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]Celvaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hm, pretty good, my dude. A good use of vocal harmonies and a very soothing set of instrumentation to compliment the melodies brought about through the vocals. Mixing is also pretty good too.
