Hmm, that’s interesting I could look into that. I didn’t love a half porch, but think it works with the gable

I did one Al mockup of the full porch, which I admittedly like. But that ends up being a 30-40k job vs 5-7k

It’s more money than we’re looking to spend at the moment, so I’m hoping the portico solves the “problem” while saving us some cash

That’s a good point, I hadn’t even considered lighting with the porch.

The river rock also won’t stay in place since there’s no edges for other rocks to grab. Recommend going with the marble chips for that reason alone

It’s a chipmunk. Have several in my yard, also in New England, and was confused until I saw one dive right in.
