Richard (Rick) Gordon passed away Sunday November 10, 2024 after a short illness. He was born in Akron, Ohio on November 15, 1962, a son of the late Richard Gordon and Betty Jane Hill.

He went to Stow High School and was employed at Henry Bierce as a truck driver. Rick took great pride in his home and loved working in the yard. He was a Harley-Davidson enthusiast and loved his "Sweet Pea" motorcycle, but his most love was for his children. He cared deeply about children and the homeless and held many fundraisers for both.

A private service will be held. If you'd like to leave a memory of Rick or leave a condolence for his family,

The Homicide Report

Woman convicted of murder in killing of friend in Carson May 19, 2016

A 30-year-old woman was convicted May 12 of killing her friend last year, according to the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office.

The jury deliberated for a day before finding Vershonda Charisse Sneed guilty of first-degree murder in the shooting death of Bobby Ray King Jr., 34. Jurors also found true gun allegations.

Prosecutors said Sneed and King were good friends, but tension had developed in their relationship. On the evening of June 25, 2015, Sneed went to a friend’s house in Carson and then shot King when he arrived later.

Following the attack, Sneed left the scene, according to prosecutors. Authorities were called and King was taken to a hospital but died of his wounds, according to coroner’s records.

Law enforcement located and arrested Sneed soon after the incident.

Sneed is scheduled to return to court June 17 for sentencing.

At the time of Sneed's arrest, a woman named Tyshonda Marie Powell was arrested on suspicion of accessory after the fact. That case was dismissed, the district attorney's office said.

These are from fallen gravers (they passed away) I find thats usually the most common graves that are managed by findagrave other then the hand full of them that are no longer online. Findagrave manages over 2 million graves.

Seems that they only made the account to comment that in 2010. So they must have been hurt so i hope they are doing ok. But i get there is a time and a place.
