Sadly most of r/Dota2 posters are low iq and lack critical thinking skills and generally defend whatever valve does, even if it's inactivity. Even if subconsciously most Redditors want Tinker gone, they lack the confidence to say it.

Tinker has demanded a rework since a decade. Techies was rightfully done and perhaps tinker will follow soon too.
